Oh my gosh, I heard about this news on twitter and was hoping it was just a horrible joke. I can't believe we are losing what feels like my second home.

I have been out of power (stupid hurricaine issac) otherwise I would be in game enjoying the last days/weeks of this wonderful game. I still hope to finish my titan brute and start my water corruptor. So many things left to do! I hope to see everyone on another game someday---i'll miss all my freedom friends, even Cover girl.

Great job on RHW--thanks to Yat Man for forming and for everyone who participated. Especially those who switched toons to help us out (and therefore didn't get it on their main badger.)

Thanks to Makerian for hosting---The 3rd attempt was a full league (24) and successful for the Hard Way Badge (and thus, giving a lot of us the MoMag badge.)

I was an empath and I did notice that there were significantly a lot less deaths in the last runs (as an emp, I am always looking for people to rez ).

In the 2 previous runs, there would be 3-4 deaths per lightning but the last run, it was 1-2 and at times 0 deaths. I think as people run the last part again and again, it gets easier to get into the mindset of "get out" at the crackles.



The other thing I noticed was that when we hit the wall at around 36% and the call went out for lore pets--the damage dealers I was buffing with fort were +4 already (prior to lights) which I am assuming were due to Ultimate inspirations. When we did the lights round, a number of blasters were +10. He went down fast from 30-10%. So stock up on Ultimates for future attempts! (An interesting note, I wonder if lore pets spawned at +10 as well? I didn't target any and didn't notice.)

Freedom's up!

Now i can't log on any server---when freedom booted me out, i was able to log onto an alt on champion. Now i'm locked out completely!

And Ben is totally going to pick Courtney on "the bachelor"--see what i have to watch when i can't play CoX!?!!

Thanks for the update--i was at 15/16 and couldn't find out which one i was missing (it was pally). This helps alot!

Count me in! I am flexible to bringing whatever the team needs (as long as its a corr, defender or troller) but I imagine that my empath or kin would be most useful.

Donated too--i'm happy to donate to such a great cause and i think its great that the CoX team is doing this...i wonder if there are any players that plan to play?? i would love to support them too!

I'm watching CNN and following the coverage for Hurricane Irene--it looks like its going to be a massive storm. As someone from New Orleans, (I evacuated and was displaced for 2 months following Katrina), I know how disruptive this can be.

I hope that everyone evacuates safely and for those of you staying in place--make sure you have supplies and take a video or cell phone picture inventory of your stuff. If you do make an insurance claim, its invaluable to have that documented...i found that out!


Oh, and if cell phone service goes down, texting always worked for us here..even during the heights of the storm, we were getting texts from people that stayed in the hospitals. ( its something about using less bandwidth).

I'd love to help as well--I was a participant in Turg's nightly MoKeyes run as well so I know that persistence and patience definitely pays off.

Depending on the needs of the team, I can bring a /rad or /kin or /emp.

I'd like to join as well!! Either on my ice/kin corr (mysteria morna) or on my fire/emp troller (lady morna).

Though I am very familiar with the Keyes trial--it would be fun to run again on a well run league! I find it hard to get PuG Keyes trial in Pocket D..so hopefully this will help!

ps-- I would, of course, give up the spot if someone who was not familiar or who has not run the trial needed it.

I'd be happy to help w/ another Mokeyes run as well, Turg. We've certainly had enough practice, esp if we can grab some of the others. Set up a date/time and I'll be there!
