The Freedom Horde Excursion Tours team proudly presents...

Mission: Non-Trial TOUR of the Keyes Reactor Facility in Praetoria
Tour Guide: Dr. Turgenev
Location: Pocket D

Date & Time: Thursday, August 11th @ 10:30PM Eastern / 7:30PM Pacific

Level Range: Anyone who wants to learn the Keyes trial, just have a travel power. :P

Combatants: No combat, but lvl 20 mobs will be in vicinity

Intended Team Roster: Open, up to 48 joiners total in a League format. It'd be helpful to have a few experienced players on-hand as team leads, to guide their crews accordingly.

Keyes Reactor Tour Details
  • This walkthrough is geared towards players who are unfamiliar with the Keyes trial in general, and the various badge requirements for the "Master of the Keyes Reactor Trial" set. We'll be going through each stage using a non-trial version of the map, to give time for people to ask questions and let the info soak in.
  • Tour will be in Neutropolis, with players forming up in Pocket D.
  • If you are interested in signing up, please post here with your desired hero/villain name and your global, so I know how to find you.

Just wanted to say, this is a brilliant idea... Unfourtunately I can't dedicate my play schedule in advance for this stuff. I hope the whole server turns out... might I suggest a few broadcasts in Pocket D that night to get some of the regular trial runners to go along and learn something.

Oh dear god, not the whole server.. XD I wanna keep it manageable for the first run, but I have no objections to doing more info tours! Better yet, if we can start a TREND where people do this on request, then my purpose for starting this (saturate the info out there so it spreads out) will be fulfilled.

Shred, thanks for the vote of support, and like I said, if this works out, I'll be doing this again, and soon. Feel free to ping me in-game if you want an ad-hoc tour.

I'd like to try to be there for this.... the one Keyes I've run was successful and for the most part didn't seem as hard as everyone is making it out to be, but the AV fight at the end was somewhat confusing. @Ven Infinity -- I'll show up with whichever one of my 50s is already parked in PD.

I wouldn't mind a tour of the Lambda and BAF locations either at a future point in time. I've actually done both of those, but I still feel lost a lot in them, and certain terms people call out who run it a lot confuse me. Much less trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing on an MO run.

Very doable, Luna. The only negative for Lambda is the warehouse/lab area access, which AFAIK isn't accessible/doesn't exist in the public zone rendering. (I checked last week.) There ARE some good map layouts of the internal Lambda areas, though... TsumijiZero made quite a few good maps for all the trials, in fact. I'll link them out, just remind me.

I know BAF like the back of my hand. It's the only one I run. I've done a Keys and it was a successful charlie foxtrot. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, though I did a good job of killing warworks in garages. ???

I've run one Lambda and it seemed to take forever to kill Praetor White since we were going for Master Of. We still collected the things, but I don't think we used them, part of the Master thing. [kinda sad I know so little about it, but I didn't like it and just trade threads for xp]

I'd like to join as well!! Either on my ice/kin corr (mysteria morna) or on my fire/emp troller (lady morna).

Though I am very familiar with the Keyes trial--it would be fun to run again on a well run league! I find it hard to get PuG Keyes trial in Pocket D..so hopefully this will help!

ps-- I would, of course, give up the spot if someone who was not familiar or who has not run the trial needed it.

All requests added to Tulpe. Remember, this is NOT an actual Trial run, this is a walkthrough of the Keyes reactor in Neutropolis for people who want to learn the trial mechanics. Of course, if everyone gets it, I see no reason why we can't put that info to immediate use once we're done! =D
