I have been playing around on DCUO and it is worse then u say, first off there is no tanks there well real tanks like in COH, the trollers cant control anything,, they r just buffers, they cant control anything, healers powers are to be desirable
  2. Have u tried in the channels? Plus one of the best ways to get the MoLRSF is to have a mind dom to put the AVs asleep on some of the missions.

    More bad news

I wont be able to play much in the next few weeks due to IRL situation. Me and my room mates r getting kicked out of are place because r landlord sold the house. He told us that we have to leave in less then a week.

How do u think i felt when i got a tell from another side kick IE Plucky Side Kick You were one of the first ppl i meet here on CoH when I first started but never got the pleasure of teaming with you till much later when I came back.
Chrome you and your wife was 1 of the first friends I made here along with @WWII, @Sidko, and must not forget who introduced us @Sam-Man AKA @Giggles. Also @Aja Star who kept me up to date when i stopped playing for a bit due to IRL situation, and @Cheapo who helped me make my SG The Dark Hearts, there is a few others whos names escaped me when I first started and had to stop right before the vet rewards.
Also thanks to all of those that I have got to know since I returned a few years ago, Kil who yes we argue bout things, but we still get along on other stuff, Warboss, Rangle who introduced me to TT and I have been enjoying playing a tank since then, to Kanga, and (dont hit me) Allya for helping me lvl a few of my other tanks for TT on other servers, Zar even though we hit it off on the wrong foot in the beginning due to a certian IRL situation, when we got to actually talked about it and you understood, and we teamed a few times on other stuff thanks for your patients. Mari thanks for your help on some of my raids, and doing raids for us on Justice. There is so many others I would like to thank for 1 or another, like Galactic Blaze, Profit, Killer Wail, HH, HrO, philly, BADA and a lot of others who has helped make it when my mother passed away.
Then to the ppl at Paragon who kept this game going for so long thanks for your hard work and dedication to the game. Finally I want to thank @Lady Inferus who introduced me to the Game.

    Galatic Blaze

Galatic Blaze is not a VIP so he can not post here so he ask me to say good bye to you all. He had made lot of good friends here on Justice and wanted me to say to you all thanks for the fun he had and wished he would of came back sooner.
  6. It is sad that we never got to meet IRL for most of the players here but like you I have been hit by a loved one lost and the ppl here helped me to get by better then my actual family. I have never known more supportive ppl in any community then here on Justice. Like when I lost my mother due to cancer, or when my dog had Pavel it was you guys that helped me make it through it all. I just wished there was some way i can show my appreciation to all those out there on Justice, other then to say Thank You all for being there.
  7. I will try to be there if work allows it.

I am not to happy bout this I have tried other MMos and was not to thrilled about them, Wish there was something we as a community can do about this.

Ok here I thought it was all a rangle plot but in truth it was all JBs fault
  13. Wait What? COH is going to be gone? What about all the money ppl spent for the year sub that dose not end at the end of the year? R we going to get reimburse for that? What about bio armor and i24? See what all the rangle plot has brought to us all? as witty would say DDDDDDOOOOOMMMMM. But in truth I will be missing you all out there in tanker land from either in game or on the post and hopefully we will see you that shows up for the last few TT.
  14. No one has posted in here for a long time. It must be a rangle plot.

U can just do what I did and skip the disclaimer and went strait to what she was saying.
  16. couple of things 1 rogues can only be on vill side, vig can only be on hero side, 2 my PvP toon is on freedom. But if u want to do something like this Just let me know the time and date we can see about getting it going.
  17. Ok I do not play much there except for mostly TT another way to get merits is to do ouro mish arcs. Also converters can help out some, if u get the cheap ones for the lvl u need.
  18. First off what server do u play on? second a great way to get merits is to do HAMI if they do them on the server u play on. There is 2 reasons i say this first you can get the rewards IE 53 merits from it, second get the HOs which can help your build if u get lucky enough to get the ones u need, or u can sell them to get extra influence. Now that we know little more what you r looking to do a little with your tank. You also said you are worried about end I would of taken the energy mastery to help with end instead of the earth mastery. I worked up a quick build moved a few things Some of the stuff might be a bit pricey but worth it I left the build out of granite to show you what you can do when not in granite.

This build looks a bit incomplete - you have a few powers like Mud Pots and Brimstone that are on generic IOs and you haven't slotted Granite Armor fully. It's also not immediately clear what your overall build goal is here - the only common thread I see among the Sets you've chosen so far is endurance recovery and to a lesser extend accuracy, but that might be coincidental. Also, you mention being on a budget but you've included the Panacea proc in Health - that can be pricier than some purples, or was the last time I looked.
    • Granite Armor underslotted. This is a very powerful Defense and Resistance toggle, the power that the entire powerset is balanced around (for better or for worse, but that's an issue for another thread). You should be slotting both aspects of the power. I suggest you six-slot this using Defense/Endurance and Resistance/Endurance set IOs to cover both aspects fully while still getting good endurance reduction.
    • Taking Rock Armor very late in build. This is one of your main armor powers and you've delayed it very late in the build. You're going to want this before level 10. If you intend to be in Granite all the time and this is a respec build, then this might not matter, but in that case I wonder why you have the other armors at all. I personally don't like always-in-Granite stone builds, I like to function outside of Granite, but it is a build choice some people make.
    • IO Set bonus goal?? I alluded to this above. I'm not really sure what you're going for here. I would suggest that you try for a softcap Defense/capped Resistance build with regeneration and recharge as secondary goals. Alternatively, you might build for recharge and runspeed to offset the effects of Granite as much as possible. I'd need to understand your goal before I can help you achieve it. It's also not always strictly necessary to even have an overall goal if enhancing certain key powers will get you what you need - I'd encourage you to 'frankenslot' these powers with IOs from different sets, as with my suggestion above for Granite.
    • I would suggest putting the Kismet IO in Weave instead of Minerals. You'll be running Weave all the time, in or out of Granite.
    • Any reason in particular for not having Hasten in the build? You're going to want powers like Earth's Embrace and Ice Slick coming back fast, to say nothing of the recharge penalties you suffer while in Granite.
    • Are you intending to go Incarnate with this character? You hadn't selected an Alpha for this build.
    • You're also not using any of the Might of the Tanker ATO enhancements. I would recommend at least the +Resistance proc.
    • On the subject of Ancillary pools, I would recommend Earth over Arctic for Quicksand, which should combo very nicely with Ice Slick. It's also very useful to have a ranged hold, but either Fossilize or Arctic Mastery's Block of Ice can give you that.
    • If you're not already using it for Teleport, I recommend using the mouse click bind since it makes using the teleport reticle interface much easier for quick, effective teleporting. The bind is: /bind SHIFT+LBUTTON "powexecname Teleport" Then you hold down the shift key and left click where you want to go, and you will teleport there. This saves you the step of having to place the white reticle, since the left button executes it at once.

I'll keep an eye on the thread for your responses - once we have a better idea where you want to go with this build, I'd be happy to help you further, and I'm sure others around here would too.
The PvP IO can be expensive, unless you either A get it with hero/vill merits or B get it with E-merits or C get a cheap PvP IO and convert it. To go along with what Just said I would also put in the steadfast def Proc in stone skin. It will increase your def in and out of granite.
  20. A few things first off leadership pool is a big end hog, maneuvers if your going to have it switch out the def with def/end/rech to help with some of the end usage, tactics is another end hog and having the gussian's in it is more for typed def then it is for targeted def. I have not really looked the rest over yet. Ill coment more when i get home from work bout it and show you my build.

Just to pull your chain a bit... If you were tanking, is it your normal playstyle to solo canisters while your teammates are dying? I kid.
Actually no I thought the team was following me at the time when I did it and was just shocked actually. I have experience both as well and it also depends on the situations and circumstances, Yes my SD tank last longer soloing in cim then my FA, but at the same time my FA tank last longer in other situations then my SD tank like on Itrials.

Not much of a play style to FA other than hitting Healing Flame. Just because you outlived other players doesnt set a standard that FA is better.

If im 50+ and mentor tanks on my scrapper. I can easily make a bias survival comparison.

By the way BAF doesnt have acids, that would be Lambda.
I ment Lam, thanks for the correction there and both of us was level shifted to +3 and both had hybread unlocked and slotted. Not to mention yes there is a certain type of play style for FA not everyone dose that the same wasy. I hardly used HF when I did that, just a certain attack chain to take them out.

I like Shield. Positional softcap. To iSoftcap if you want. 80+ ddr. Excellent taunt aura. Decent resistances before ato proc. Have hit 80%+ sm/l with the proc.

Drawback... No self heal. Pair with DM if that is a concern. Alternately, there is always rebirth.

Held and maintained aggro on 15 monster island gm's on this toon. That's tough enough for me. I do have a stoner, but there is never, never any NEED for that level of survivability, especially on teams.
I have to strongly disagree with what you said bout the FA tank. I have out lived many Inv, WP, and SD tanks on my FA tank in both Itrials, and reg content. The tankest tank I could think of really depends on your own play style and how you build them. I have seen someone put up a really good build but had difficulty surviving due to not knowing how to play them and was not good for there play style. The last time I did a BAF on my FA tank i was taking out the canisters for acids by myself with out dieing while the inv tank with the rest of the team kept dieing. I have also seen other ppl do the same on there tanks. Back t what I was saying it is all in your play style, and how u build it to suit your needs, and play style.
