It's a very sad day indeed, and I will very much miss this community. Especially the Tanker community. The people here are the reason I've been playing this game since Issue 2, and plan to be here until the game shuts its doors.

This has been a bit hard for me to process today. I will miss this game way more than any grown man should miss a video game. It has been a pleasure Tanking with you all and I hope to stay in touch with more than a few of you. Right now I think I need to go for a walk....

This has indeed been a bummer of a day. I've been frequenting the tanker forums for many years now. Hearing today's news felt like a pretty bad gut punch. Above the game itself, I'll miss the community. There were a lot of great people here that I like seeing around. Hell, today I found out that Tic Toc was BABs this whole time!
I keep hoping we'll here a new breaking story of some other developer company picking up CoH and Paragon Studios, but I'm afraid NCSoft has decidedly put a bullet into the heart of the game. So I bid you all a good life. Perhaps we'll argue about mechanics or agree on power values in another game. I hope that ends up happening. I'll always try to keep Rylas as my user handle, so if you see my around, say "hey".

I'm still in disbelief; it's been only a few days since we were getting news on all the new developments coming and suddenly, completely out of the blue NCSoft yanks the rug out from under everyone.
I've tried a bunch of other MMO's and never found one I enjoyed playing. COH was my first and it spoiled me for anything else... every game I tried just didn't measure up.
So... what's next for everyone? I really hate loosing this community; has anyone thought of where to go from here?

I've been lurking these forums at least once a week for quite a long time now. I truly don't know what to say.
A while back, Buffy Summers convinced me to play a tank. Thank you Buffy, I've rarely played anything else 
Thank you to Arcannaville, Aett, Dechs, Rangle, Awesome, LSK, JB, New Dawn, I'm missing people- it's because I'm still stunned. No other reason. I'll update as I think of people that have greatly helped me over the years.

Wait What? COH is going to be gone? What about all the money ppl spent for the year sub that dose not end at the end of the year? R we going to get reimburse for that? What about bio armor and i24? See what all the rangle plot has brought to us all? as witty would say DDDDDDOOOOOMMMMM. But in truth I will be missing you all out there in tanker land from either in game or on the post and hopefully we will see you that shows up for the last few TT.

Still trying to process the fact that CoH is going away. I knew it would happen someday, but I always thought there'd be more warning than this. I'm still shocked and saddened, and my kids are taking it hard, too. They're 14 and 18 now and started playing at 11 and 7, so CoH has been a big part of their lives. It just seems impossible that all the stories, all the characters, all the love and creativity people have poured into this game can just...disappear.
But I'm going to miss the Tanker forum most of all, my home away from home on the forums. There are so many great people and good friends here and on Tanker Tuesday that I'm going to miss terribly. You can be sure that I'll be at every TT I can manage until they shut the servers down.

It has been a great ride since I joined in 2005 even though I only have a single level it is a tank, INV/SS Bob the Bruiser on Freedom, but i have many tanks on many servers. I have enjoyed my time playing with many of you at TT, Rangle, LSK, Witty, and many others. Most of you don't know me as I am not at the Hami Raids and TF's that are run regularly, but you all know my brother if you are the Hami Raids [Static Rock and other characters].
I am going to miss the game sorely as it was my way to relax and relieve stress, now what do I do. I will be trying to find something else that is this much fun but i doubt I will find anything as their are no other decent SuperHero/Hero games out there.
I will miss all of you and all of the people i have met on CoH over the years. I will make some TT again before the end comes.

My emotions are still over the place. This game was my way of becoming a super hero, but this game become so much more.
I loved my tank in the beginning, and it was and is my favorite archtype. Then I heard about this Tanker Tuesday, and I really became hooked. I hope to see you all again and hopefully for not the last time.
I would like to give my personal thanks and best wishes to the employees of Paragon Studios for giving me so many fond experiences. You guys were the best!

I´ve loved the game since I got into it six years ago.
One of the things I´ve come to enjoy and appreciate most is the community, both in the game and on the forums. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone has been much appreciated.

There are going to be two CoH Expats Meet and Greets next year (at least ones I'm doing). One in Columbus, OH at Origins Game Fair, the other a month or so later at GenCon in Indianapolis.

This news has been very devastating. This has become more then a game to me. While I have not regularly posted in the Tanker forums in years I have always been reading. Its been a honor to know you all.
Tanking for me has always been an artform. I have 14 level 50 tankers. Its my favorite AT. I am going to miss it very much and of course my main, Ice Knight One of the original 2 level 50 Inv/Ice Melee Tankers. The other Inv/Ice is Golden Ace, I hope he is still around.

I've had a great pleasure and honor trying to assist everyone I felt I could offer advice to on their builds. I can only hope that my advice has helped a few along the way. With the unfortunate news that NCSoft is going to be closing Paragon Studios and sun setting City of Heroes by the end of the year, I'll be missing this greatly. Thanks to all the friends I've made through the Tanker forums, and through the Tanker Tuesday events. It's been a great hoot.
While bummed, I'll be here to the bitter end. Hopefully we'll get in one last huge Tanker Tuesday bash to say good bye.
