Mmmm. OK. I can see that distinction being something that matters (if what you say is true across the board and not just coincidental in this one case we know about).

One problem I see with a level 50-54 zone is some players have all their Alpha Tiers on their 50s, and others have not even unlocked their slot.

Because of this unequality in strengths, how would you make content which would challenge the elite, and still be survivable by the not-yet-unlocked?

Does it use the same Resistance/loyalist dynamic from the 1-20 content in GR, or does it being also open to Primal Earth people mean it has a more traditional set-up regarding contacts and missions, with no undercover or side-switching options during the arcs?

It could be an Incarnate-only zone

One question I still haven't seen answered:

If one member of a leveling pact drops from VIP to Premium, does that break the pact? What if they don't pick the pact member as one of their playable characters?

IMO, that would be a mistake. You do not need to do anything to cater to the weaker members, you let that be a social decision. You create content for the incarnates. Only level 50s or only Incarnates could get the missions, but if they want to form a team of themselves and 7 level 30s, so be it. If they can't handle it because it has too many characters that are not incarnate, people will learn on their own to normally bring 50s/incarnates, but also allow for bringing a few others who are not incarnate along. If they can handle it because they are great players or have a good AT mix, that is fine as well.

Will there be a loyalty rewards "tier" to unlock more character slots? I find 2 character slots for returning users (at least 6 years, i recently canceled my account. Can't afford it anymore) is on the shy side... It would be better to at least give us more than the free users...

I don't know if this has been asked or covered anywhere else, but with the new Paragon Points system, will we be able to "gift" things from it to other players?

I know I've often wanted the ability to be able to buy a booster pack and "send" it to a friend and the Paragon Points seems like a good way to facilitate this.

There is only one thing I want answered (well, actually 2).

1) The Latin America IP Block.

Current NCSOFT Store has a regional IP Block on Latin America, to try to force us to buy with the stupid retailer that never updated their store since AE Edition. That problem doesnt happen on the INGAME store, but what you can get there is very limited at moment (no boosters, only slots, server transfers, renames and AE space).
Will the Paragon Points be gated by the NCSOFT STORE (and thus, again discriminating the Latin America and making then not able to pay) or by the INGAME store?

2) Will we get a Cookie Temp Power?

Thanks for your attention... I probably wont be answered, but thanks anyway.

As awesome as I can't wait until all this new stuff... it's kinda disappointing that First Ward is lvl 20-26... That means any of me toons above that won't be able to do the mishes unless they're in ouro... <.< That's still not quite as fun...

I mean yeah, it expands more of Praetoria which is awesome 'cause I love that world and it's good for all those perma-praetorians that refuse to go to either Rogue Isles or Paragon... XD;;

I have a question though: Say my account has 30 months active time earned, it lapses time and go to premium, will I be able to play the MM's and Trollers that I have made before me time ran out and with only 30 months? XD;;

Ok I have ANOTHER question:n Say my account is inactive now and will be until Freedom comes out, will it go to Premium 'cause I had bought like game time in the past or will it go to Free-to-Play? <.< I hope premium... lol

XD Either then that... I just super duper can't wait... I hope with First Ward there will be new badges, which should be a given... O.o I still wanna know how you'd be able to get the badges from Galaxy and the Hero/Villain tutorials after the revamp...

It'll be Premium.

Posi has indicated that the "perma-unlock" for MMs & Trollers occurs automatically IF you have accumulated 3 years (36 months) of Veteran status.

If you do not have the 3 years accumulated Veteran Rewards to auto/perma-unlock the ATs, you may purchase the unlock in the new Paragon Market with Paragon Points.

Either way, you do not have to use your Veteran Rewards to unlock the ATs.

Praetorian characters aren't required to complete the conversion right now. They are only left with no other options once their arcs are finished and they out level the zones. You don't have to leave, but there's nothing to do but not level at the moment. Adding more content shouldn't change that. We'll probably have the option to leave starting at lvl 20, or we can stay and continue the story in First Ward, and then leave.

I guess you are adding this in to continue the story from level 20 in Praetoria, but it still makes little sense with where other game content is. The level 30-40 range could really use some new stuff, and some level 40+ material would not go amiss either.
Fleshing out Praetoria is a higher priority than filling in level ranges in Primal. They've also been adding in TFs in those ranges.

I can't believe I've just complained about having to much of a good thing!
I agree. 20-26 means this zone will be outleveled extremely quickly.

.
Just out of curiosity with Supergroup transfers in the works, would this also open up the possibility to SG/VG renames as well? Or is that a beast of a different nature to tackle at another time? (If ever)

I am totally on board with this. I have characters stretched across four servers and hero and villain SGs and bases on each server to house them but my main group is on Guardian and that's where my most expensive and expansive base is. Frankly, I would love to be able to make use of that one base cross-server.

And for those asking for SG rename capabilities... +1 to that too.

So... when are we getting offline sg/vg invites so that we can get our own alts into our own groups?

Be well, people of CoH.

Well, there goes my speculation about First Ward being the solo version of the Incarnate system :P Though, it does fit better as a Praetorian zone anyway.

What will happen to our other characters if we play for free?
Do they just go inactive until we buy more VIP tyme?

If by "other characters" you mean the ones that you didn't unlock with the global character slots, then you are correct. If ever you subscribe again, they will be unlocked during your subscription.
If you should lapse into Premium status again, you will only have limited ability to reassign your global character slots again, according to this post from Positron. So, hopefully you will have them on the servers you want.

EDITed: My info was off a bit. Corrected.

Will First Ward have contacts/missions for heroes and villains, or will it be limited to use by Praetorians?

Or you could continue to level by exemping. Back in Beta, some people considered playing a character to 50 in Praetoria, but I don't know if anyone did it.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.

It's a co-op zone for Primals and Praetorians - so I don't think there'll be that many restricted arcs.

Seven people, last I heard. And that was back in late April, so it could be more now.

(I admit that I don't know if Praetorian 50s via levelling pacts were excluded or not.)

I'm still toying with the idea on the dude in my sig. I'm still less than half way through soloing every arc in Imperial City, though, so it's a long way off if I do. >_>
