Green Lantern Animated Series
animation looks very much like The Incredibles, which can definately work, its definately a step in the right direction to try that instead of "ZOMG lets copy anime" alot of USA produced cartoons go for.
Follow on to the movie? or happenstance/commerical masterminding? the trailer barely hints, and I haven't seen the movie yet to know if it sets up for this.
But it should be good, and his options are fairly wide set to encouter some of the more galactic heroes and villains, while still flitting back to Earth for JL adventures.
Supposedly the Red Lanterns are going to be the major antagonists, at least to start. We'll see.
There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. --The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Is this gonna be like Clone Wars in that it'll end up putting the live action counterparts to shame? >.>

Someone play my AE arc! "The Heart of Statesman" ID: 343405
I'm not sold on the animation, but the fact that it's being produced by Bruce Timm has me interested. Timm's series (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited) have a tendency to become classics.
AE Arcs: #10482 N00b Rescue Duty, #164100 The Four Treasures of the Tuatha De Dannan
Ok the animation looks awful...and the voice on the trailer almost made me laugh...i'll stick with Young Justice!
I like the look of the animation except for the Guardians.
I fully expect one of them to say "Hal Jordan. Take this smurf of smurfer and go smurf Paralax"
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
Looks like fun to me and I don't mind the animation style. I will give it a watch.
Confirmed altaholic with 70+ alts in coh and cov...yes i know thats alot! Playing coh since beta test phase.
"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.
Looks promising.
Too many alts to list.
I wish it was properly animated.
When is this expected to hit the air waves?
Oh, and what's wrong with the animation? I thought it looked very appropriate.
When I saw the trailer, my first hope was that the animation was unfinished. It looks rather empty and lifeless to me.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be
-- The Fox and the Hound
I don't mind the look of it and the character designs, but I agree with Tenzhi that it looks somewhat lifeless. Looks like it was animated 10 years ago.
Est sularis oth Mithas
Either that or the underestimated foe, Hal thinks he's just a cute kitty until he starts clawing him or another unfortunate Lantern to pieces with pure rage.
Badge Earned: Wing Clipper
A real showstopper!
Ill catch the first few episodes, but the animation style leaves me cold. CGI is one thing, but this just looks unfinished and empty.
Trailer for the new series is out, hot on the heels of the movie
Looks interesting, can't decide on the animation style until we see more though.
Wonder if it will ever feature any other DC heroes in it? Hopefully some of the more interstellar ones, like Omega Men, L.E.G.I.O.N., Darkstars, etc?
We built this city on Rock and Roll!
