Hero Romantic Relationships
I always liked Gambit and Rogue. Their love is very strong and they have the huge probleme with Gambit not being abel to touch Rogue.
I even liked Dazzler and Longshot, because they where one of the first "cool" couples.
Tho not heroes but villains, Joker and Harley Quin are in my opinion very iconic in a way. Their love struggle is realy an all out brawl.
And way back Storm and Forge had a good thing going. The nature vs machine thing had an edge.
Oh and Typhoid Mary and Daredevil. That was interesting
And in Outsiders vol 3 (2003) Metamorpho and Indigo. From naive playfull love to torn apart. That was some good writing to me.
Those are the first who come to mind

"I wish my life was a non-stop Hollywood movie show,
A fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes."
Post-Excalibur Colossus and Kitty Pryde.
Though they're one of the most screwed over couples in X-History they're also the only comic book couple that I care enough about to be annoyed whenever they are inevitably screwed over for the billionth time.

For a very brief time and hardly ever shown Superboy and Batgirl had a relationship. She would from time to time sneak out and visit him which took a few days so it was hardly brought up in the Batgirl comics while I don't know how much or if it was ever brought up in Superboy comics.
No.

The Avengers Wanda and Vision...it felt so much like a Jane Austen romance which warms the heart and brings a tear to the eyes...and I think my man card just caught on fire nooooo!
Lois and Clark? oh, no (but nearly everything about Supes makes me want to hurl....)
- Mary Jane and Peter Parker
- Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle
- Prince Barin and Princess Aura was a nice inclusion by Forbin
- It's warped, and disturbing but I like Joker and Harley Quinn too, Shark
Scott and Emma Frost.
Spider-Man and Black Cat
Spider-Man and Shadowcat (ultimate universe...gaaah...I feel like they were broken up just because they felt they needed to have him get with Mary Jane)
Other good ones have already been mentioned.
BrandX Future Staff Fighter
The BrandX Collection
Wildfire and Dawnstar
My only worry is that when they eventually bring her back they'll either get her back together with him OR hook her up with Wolverine, which is just as bad.
I'd also throw in Squirrel Girl and Speedball.
Though I guess I should specify alternate future Speedball and not whiney 616 Speedball.
Clark and Lois might be iconic, but I'd still personally put Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson well above them. (Which makes it sting all the more how they were handled in OMD and OMIT... but I'm not going to rant here.)
I've also got a soft spot for Barry Allen and Iris West.
Wally West and Linda Park, too.
Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon.
Batman and Catwoman are a lot of fun, but (even though it's never actually gone anywhere in canon yet) I admit I'm a Batman/Wonder Woman 'shipper. I blame JLU. I couldn't help grinning when Diana had her hallucination-kiss with Bruce before getting the Star Sapphire ring in Blackest Night. Make it happen, DC!

Doctor Who and the TARDIS
John Connor and Cameron Phillips
But why not Austin Powers and Felicity Shagwell.
Which ones are the best?
Lois and Clark are perhaps one of if not the greatest couple I think...
In Universe Sue and Ralph Dibney are considered the best...
I personally love the Tim Drake / Stephanie Brown couple and the Dick Grayson / Barbara Gordon relationship when they're allowed to be together and not fighting.
Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle is probably character development wise perhaps as great as Lois and Clark, but not as Iconic.
We got Marry Jane and Peter Parker
Cyclops and Jean Grey
How bout Conner Kent and Cassandra Cain? They were cute together in their scenes together especially with the fact that Cass could smack Conner and have it hurt, through his invulnerability.
Is Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor a good couple? Theoretically shouldn't they be as Steve's the reason Diana left Themyscira?
Anyways, who are the best hero couples? How important are they? and how iconic are they?
