Got it, wasn't as good as I thought i would be, but still a great movie.

Extra are good as all DCAU movies are but the animated episodes chosen are lacking... they give 1 small clip of a B:B&B ep and an episode of B:B&B who mainly focuses on BLue Beetle instead of GLs...

Sinestro is a GL in it which is confusing because Sinestro falls within the first week of Hal joining the GLC...If they took him out it would be better., especially since his prssences serves no purpose.

Didn't know it was out yet. I suppose I should look into picking it up.

Too many alts to list.

It's probably better than the actual Green Lantern live action movie will be and I like it better than the last Green Lantern animated movie. I had heard of the main bad guy before, but didn't think he was that powerful. Also, I was hoping to see more of the other colored lantern corps.

I enjoyed it better than the last Green Lantern animated movie First Flight, but i kind of felt teased. You saw key figures that play future roles in having a war of light, but they choose to focus on green lanterns Corps adventures. I won’t spoil but the last foe, the way to beat him was too simple, so simple if you ask me, in a billion years of his existence NO ONE ever thought to do that?!!!!!

Krona is the top scientists of the race that the guardians are. He tried to find the secret of the beginning of the universe which was prophesied to cause a massive disaster when someone did see the beginning of the universe.

He accomplished it and was banished... he has come back several times and been captured, locked away, and banished several times...

Among other things he is the one who created the technology of the GL rings, created the lanterns, and has recently taken over the entities and the guardian and merged them... and taken over the GLcorp...

Currently there is a massive event happening in the GL books that many are ignoring where in the Earth GLs have all had to take the rings of other corps cuz their leaders have been put out of commission and the GLC was mind controlled...

Basically Krona is a good guy in a way...he thinks the Guardians have lost perspective and wishes to over throw them and put in their place the Earth GLs.

In other words...Krona = one of the most important characters in DCU history being the trigger of CoIE, the trigger to creating the various corps, and the trigger to the whole Blackest Night thing by proxy of causing the Red Lantern's sector to be decimated by the Manhunters.

I really liked - loved the animation, thought the stories were good. Long enough for them to get into but not overly long.

My only criticism is that because it followed a different continuity to the first Green Lantern animated movie but some of the character designs were quite similar it was a little weird, for lack of a better term

But I would still give it 9/10

And Laira was cool

If your mouse has greater processing power than your gfx card, the answer is yes.

Spoiler...

In the movie that was the first time he'd come back since his banishment to the anti-mater universe. It took him billions of years to reconstitute himself. So no one had had a chance to think of that before.

Loved the Abin Sur one. And thought the person doing Sinestro's voice was awesome. Then i looked it up and now i think Jason Isaacs would make a better Sinestro than Mark Strong.

Not sure if calling Krona a good guy is accurate, but I do agree with his view that the Guardians have lost their perspective. Also recent GL issues have dropped a few hints that Hal initially being infested with Parallax way back in GL VOl 3 #50 was indeed allowed/permitted by the Guardians, something I've suspected before. Also in GL:Rebirth even Parallax called Ganthet a liar and that the Guardians allowed him to escape via Jordan.

I think the GLC could do rather well without the Guardians, and perhaps a few new Guardians in charge could be good.

Just wanted to throw my .02 in.

I'm going with Tired Angel on a 9/10 rating for "Emerald Knights". I thought "First Flight" was a strong 8/10, but this was significantly cosmic enough that I caught myself blurting out "woooooow" at least twice. Krona was EPIC, y'all. Epic.

Most worthy, good voices, snappy stories, very well put together and a superb wrapup. Shine your light on this one and enjoy the reflection...

Roddy Piper gives it that extra point

I really liked it, and enjoyed the different scales that each of the different segments/episodes had. Also, it instills a great deal of hope for the forthcoming Green Lantern series.

More recent comics have stretched that time out a bit. But, let's be honest, his name's Sinestro, if he doesn't go evil at some point that would be the real shame. Besides, we know it'll happen eventually, do you really have to rush it?

If he doesn't go evil, he should at least be left-handed.

So it appears the Mummy really likes playing fallen heroes (Black Adam and Sinestro).

I thought Jason Isaacs was Sinestro...? Pretty sure Arnold Vosloo was Abin Sur in this.

Assuming you mean Vosloo, when did he play Sinestro? Because Sinestro is voiced by Jason Isaacs in Emerald Knights, as I recall.

I believe this was done by the same people who are doing the movie...just FYI. And yes it was a very awesome movie, the story telling was very entertaining...

Laira: [to Kentor] I came here hoping that Ree'yu and Rubyn were responsible for Jayd's atrocities, hoping that you were still the man that once tucked his daughter in at night, but you are no longer that man, and I am a Green Lantern.
