Go play your low level characters.

My market slots are getting tied up with IOs that wont even sell at 1/3 of the recent price history.

No u!

Actually I've played a level 25/26 brute the last two nights... but I outfitted him with generic IOs that I crafted myself.

Putting teams together on getting on teams that aren't i20 Trials, WTF, or farms is frustratingly annoying these days. Sure, you can find them, but I have done level range searches for an AT and found 3 people playing that weren't level 50. I have done it repeatedly with the same results and even on the high pop servers. This says nothing of trying to buy lower level IOs to help frankenslot out characters that sit there with credible and most often buy it now bids and they simply don't get purchased because nobody is selling them in the first place.

I play lowbies more than my high level characters. However, I save all my common salvage as I level, and when I hit 22, I craft a pile of common IOs, usually 75% or more of what I need. The rest, I buy the salvage and craft my own.

What are you trying to sell? I list common IOs at 50-75% of market value and they fly off the shelf - If they're level 25+ and useful types (damage, resist, defense, recharge, end, endmod, acc, heal). If they're low level or less desirable, I list them for 1 and delete them if they don't move in a day or two. So if you're selling crap commons, I'm undercutting you, and I'm not the only one.

If you're talking about sets, only very specific pieces of certain sets at just the right levels usually move.

If there's market activity on the items, and yours aren't moving, though, that means that someone is undercutting you and counting on people not bid creeping. If that's the case, your choices are to pull yours and list lower, buy theirs and relist them (you'll probably crash the price, at least short term, and could lose money), or be patient and hope they eventually sell out.

But if you're just selling random things like level 23 Basilisk's Gaze: Acc/Hold and level 27 Pounding Slugfest: Damage/End... don't expect them to fly off the shelves.

I *AM* playing my low levels. Someone has to gobble up those IOs at SO prices. *cue pacman sound effects*

I spent 2.5 hours last night on a character who started the run at level 9. He's actually too low to be buying IOs yet.

I'm spending most of my time on a Corruptor in the teens. Trials are so two weeks ago.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

Sorry cant help you... all 50's here !!!

I don't want to delete any of my 50s to make another low level character. It will be interesting to see how much Deutsch and Francaise I'll learn after starting another twelve characters on the EU servers. :P

My other league mate: "Urge to PvP... rising...!"

Well, I have been buying the level 24 versions of them and a number of other level 24s so there is at least one buyer of the lower stuff.

Note: level 24 dual IOs offer just over +3 SO levels of enhancement when combined. I figure acc/damage, damage/end, and damage/recharge from two sets gives me a standard 6 slotted attack at +3 SO level, but with bonuses from two sets. It exemps fine and I don't have to worry about reslotting unless I do full sets. I'll likely have to look at ones higher than 24 just because the market is so dry of what I'm looking for. As I mentioned before. All bids are at least credible based on how they have been selling. At least 1-2 bids are for 100K. And yet... What really makes it frustrating is I have 3 melee ATs doing this and I can't even fill out one build. I'm trying to avoid using merits for this as well.

I'm playing a few different lowbie characters at the moment. Let me know what sets and what level range, and I'll make sure I throw up any drops I get on the market for you at a reasonable price.

I, too, am playing mostly low level characters lately.

Reason: I only have one 50, and it's a Mastermind loaded with IO set bonuses. Her build's not bad, really; on a good run, she can pack a serious wallop.

But after grinding my way to 50, I was ready to move on to something else by the time I unlocked her Alpha Slot.

Now I'm working on getting SOMETHING to 50, my three main contenders being a DP/elec blaster, a SS/WP brute, or a Crab Spider.

Hmm, I'm doing OK. Got a lev 22 Ice Tank just gobblin' the Haymakers. Nom nom nom.

Other than that, as long as someone's selling def/end enh and accuracy commons, I'm cool.

But, yes, buying all those, crafted, always at less than 5m. Sometimes at 1 inf.

I've been playing a few lowbies but, ironically enough, stopped trying to get them IO sets (even for Frankenslotting) because there was never anything available for sale. I'll have to drop by WW's again.

It seems in the circle of friends that I play there was been a wane in interest in the trials. Lots of low level alts are being played. Last night we finished up a moonfire.

I played around with my Ninja/FF mastermind last night. She's at 28.

In the last few days, I've also spent time with my Dark corr (17), my Mind/Psi dom (29) and my BS/Shield scrap (30). I rarely put their recipe drops on the market, though... Most of them just aren't worth bothering.

Okay!

Finally finished filling my level 21 (24 after Moonfire) fire/fire tank slots with all 20-25 IO basics. Of course, I craft my own recipes because I am always poor and the AH is boring. Mostly good prices on the recipes, though.

My 50 even got her Apocalypse with a chance for negative damage for only 300 million, as opposed to the 450 it had been running at. ^_^

My pet peeve is people who refuse to acknowledge it when I tell them my character has unlimited power. If I rp attack them they are of course disintegrated beyond the ability of any hospital or magic to restore. Yet despite this they refuse to delete their characters and still keep playing them as if nothing happened. ~Mandu, 07-16-2010

Make sure to check both. Often the crafted cost less than the recipe+material to craft it. And I tend to wait overnight and get crafted for less than the recipes were going for the night before.

It's not a bad idea to have (1) a marketing toon, even if you don't market, just to keep bids out you'll need later, and (2) have that toon in their own SG. A dinky crafting room and an enh storage will set you back less than 10m dollars, I think. (I don't think in terms of prestige, because my professional buyer doesn't fight anymore.)

They are random things between 30-40. They are selling, slowly. It is just frustrating when something regularly sells for 60mil and I cant even sell it for 10mil in less than a week.
I post things at a price to sell quickly, Im not worried about making the max cash all the time. I just remember a time when I would post my random IO sets and they would disappear within a day.

On the other hand, pretty level 50 stuff that I used to sell at 45 mill are going for 4 or 5 millions. . .

I'll have to log on and make a list.

Pretty much all of my level 50 recipes I sold in stacks after crafting them went to hell. I relisted to get rid of them and moved on to other stuff. I'm doing as well as ever. I've probably skimmed off the top around 1 billion from a couple of characters and e-mailed it to other characters within the last couple weeks, or so.
