Here is hoping it is a lag fix for BAF.

Careful, do you mean Beta server or Test server? Those are different.
If it's the Beta server, you have to be part of the double secret testing cabal to have access, and lose your first born child if you squeal about details.

It is indeed on Beta. I'm sure we'll like it, whatever it is! Big patches mean big changes or additions. :P

Its a fairly small footprint app that happily runs in the background, it keeps the game patched while I'm away doing other stuff instead of finding there is a patch to download when I want to login RIGHT NOW, and it manages my Test and Beta installs. |

Did the Beta server ever get the most recent patch that the Test and Live servers recently got? That might be it.

Not only that but it verifies files sooo much faster than the old CoH launcher.

I'll agree with Futurias...when you login it shows a big list of servers (only 2 were green when I logged in (no access though 
))...servers were named "WorldAccess_Server01" or something like that...
