They'd have to be from another dimension

Who draw their power from the Mountain of Might instead of the Well of Fates?

That helmet really reminds me of a Cylon.
Yes, I was annoyed when I got cheated out of the 13 Praetorians for the badge after completing both new arcs. Where can you fight Tyrant now? (Or is there something else I'm missing?)

Tyrant was never part of the Dimensional Wrader badge - you can go here for a list of the required AVs and where to find them:

I just want to know how you know this (as far as the slots go that is...don't care about the Tyrant/AV fight talk)...

Well there are 5 more slots, presumably at least 4 of those will be made available in i21, if not all 5 and, going on past experience, 2 of those 4 will provide a level shift (though I guess all 4 could in theory, or none); entirely likely that the 5th will too and that would ultimately put you at +6 (or + anything between 3 & 8) by the end of all the incarnate slots.

Heh, to be honest I think my mind skipped that word when I first read it.

I thought I'd minor-necro this post for some info. If you've been participating in server invasions, chances are you've seen these new Olympian Guards in-game. They're Elite Bosses, with the usual assortment of Super Strength powers and Laser Beam Eyes. Only their SS powers are called "Incarnate [Super Strength attack]" and have resistance and defense debuffs on them. They also have Beam Sweep, a cone version of Laser Beam Eyes, and most frightening of all, a no-crash version of Dreadful Wail that stuns through Tanker mez protection that they use as soon as their target's in range. They are not to be trifled with.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Some of you may have even seen these tough customers flanking Emperor Cole himself during the server invasions...

So Tyrant was in Cap au Diable? No wonder we didn't find the guy on Peregrine when it was on my usual server.

And this is exactly why I love the CoX community!

VG Cats is awesome

The Captain Planet parody is one of my favorites too!

Yeah, my Sword/Shield scrapper ran into some of the 'stragglers' of an Invasion in Atlas (main events too laggy for me)

Now, he could stand toe to toe with a War Warlker EB and not die. Sure, he couldn't kill it, but hey ho, I didn't expect him to.

And then I saw an Olympian Guard.
First note; I LOVE the costume! So freaking badass! Major kudos to whoever did that one (I would guess David?)

Second note; worthy adversary is very, VERY worthy! These guys are scary! The cone laser sweep and the Incarnate Shout attack...well, wow. I was streetpancake in very short order.

I approve. I approve a lot. Swap him into Maria Jenkins arc and I'll have a reason to play it again.

Well, considering that I get to fire off a power about once every 5 minutes (Yes, I did exaggerate) when I get anywhere near one of those invasions. No, I did not see anything like that. I tend to stay as far away from them as I possibly can.

Thank goodness for instanced missions.

There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"

We won't even need them to mow down the Olympian Guard, going by how feeble they've been in the invasion so far

Of course you should. It's the only decent one of that title, being Australian and all.
