I don't mind the fighting- they need to strike a balance between "he's still Thor, but is de-powered" and "he's still Thor, but is de-powered."
That said, the bow and arrow cameo seems pretty extraneous to the scene as it is teased.

I don't see anything wrong with the fighting. It's just a brawl, coming after another brawl. Frankly I'm relieved not see yet another shaky-cam quick-cut who-the-hell-can-tell-what's-going-on strobe effect "fight."

Seemed OK to me. Nothing brilliant, but certainly nothing to damp my enthusiasm. I will certainly be seeing this in the theater.

So, the guy with the arrow. What exactly was he waiting for when they finally separated? Or was he there to ensure a fight? "First one to stop brawling gets an arrow in his head!"

Too many wide shots, it moved like molasses. Gimme shaky-cam over that dud any day.

Ok just because we see some soldier with a bow and arrow doesn't make him Hawkeye until the movie states his name is Clint Barton or that he is Hawkeye. For all we know it is a shield agent on guard duty under orders to use silent weapons or somesuch.
As to the fight, this is THOR, but as he is depowered he does not have his class 100+ strength/durability/stamina. What he DOES have unless ODIN wiped his memory which is not likely is centuries of combat experience and tactical abilities. THOR is more then a musclebound clod even if that is how he acts at times.
seems like a standard brawl to me *shrug*
could it have been done better? probably.
does it do anything negative for the movie as a whole? I don't think so.
I don't think the issue being pointed out is the way the fight went down, but how it was shot.

Hey, usually it's us guys that get the two women rolling around on the floor or in some lubricating substance. This bit of mud wrestling was clearly for the female audience.

You guys know what happened here right? Hawkeye was going for the big XP using an old kill stealing tactic if Thors HP got down enough.
But like a smart blaster, he ran cause he knew he didn't have the big gun ready. Another problem was that he probably didn't have stun arrow slotted up enough.
You guys should have seen right through that one.

Kinda weird that they'd give just any SHIELD agent a bow, eh?
Also, the direction and editing of this little fight kinda makes me wary of the crew's ability to take on Thor.
