What AT/power sets have the most DPS output in the gaming? and has been proven? I know people test against pylons in RWZ..

Currently a crab spider at over 1.2k.
Sustainable dps is another question though.

They are including T4 Warworks pets in those numbers, if I'm not mistakin..

And t3 (or higher) reactive interface procs, in addition to t3 (or 4) destiny (barrier) keeping said pets alive..

Aye, so its kinda moot point.. Since any AT could get the above slots and boost their DPS tremendously.

Like, what about a Kin, buffing said pets to insane levels with Fulcrum Shift and Siphon Power? lol

To be fair crabs do get alot of dps against single targets without cheatworks.

A Kin/Sonic with T4 Warworks and Reactive would dish out tremendous amounts of DPS. However, I'm not so sure it can keep the pets alive against a pylon.

The Crab didn't use the Rebirth heal to keep the pets alive(In my experience it's not enough), he tanked the pylon while hovering above the pets(so the AoE didn't hit them).

In pure damage output terms, I'm gonna say Fire/Shield Scrapper for single target sustained damage

Pretty sure Finduilias has the record breaking build. A fire/fire or mind/fire dom that can sustain something like 450 DPS. No incarnate stuffs needed.

Perhaps (and this is just me guessing, as I have no idea at all if it would work) he summoned his Lore pets, then switched what slot he had equiped, and summoned new ones? That's the only way I can see "double summons" working since recharge doesn't affect them.

That shouldnt work either, as you can't unslot a power while its recharging (to prevent such a thing from happeneing)

The thing with dominators, is that you have to actually do A LOT to make them high damaging. Perma dom is a must, and then you have to lead with your controls, or else things will kill you faster then you kill them. granted, in a full throttle IO dom builds, your bound to have at lest 1 AoE control power up every spawn, so you can really just wreck stuff. It'll just cost you an arm, a leg, and half of your house.

Actually, I'm guessing that doesn't work since in order to swap you can't attack or be attacked for 5 minutes. However if you summon at the beginning of a mission, then swap you haven't attacked yet, so that is a possibility, but it only works once so you only have a 4.5 minute window of overlap (estimated).

The other loophole I know of is swapping builds. That works for the mission teleporter and other similar powers but you can't do that during a mission.

As I mentioned in the thread, this was done with all my spider pets, lore pets, double leadership, -res debuffs, my high recharge ST gun chain, Reactive DoT, and Barrier. You'd be surprised at how much damage output comes from multiple pets when buffed and focus firing on a debuffed target. Without Lore I can manage this in a bit over a minute. Lore helps a lot especially when Vicky decides she wants to critical.

I realize that Pylons are moreso a fun benchmark and some people don't view them as a way to gauge how you'd do in battle. However, since the long thread in the scrapper forum existed I thought I'd post my experience since Crabs usually get downplayed when it comes to ST damage. In real battle I'm usually spamming my AoE chain so ST damage is not as much of a concern to me.

All Crabbiness aside though, my guess would be that Fire doms would probably be top choice for non-pet ST damage.

A competent kin won't have any trouble. Put the pets in melee range, debuff the pylon's damage with Siphon Power, and use Transfusion occasionally to heal them.

/fire is great for doms. The rest of the secondaries dont really compare though.

What do you consider DPS? Raw damage output, or do you believe -regen add to your DPS? If it's the later, I'd assume fire/rad corr would be a contender for most DPS...

Scrapper: DM/Shield with saturated Soul Drain and AAO; Kin/Fire without saturation
Tanker: I'm not sure, but I believe Fire/Kin or Fire/DM, maybe Fire/Fire
Controller: Fire/Rad
Defender: Kin/Sonic
Blaster: Fire/MM (counting the -regen of MM)

Stalker: Most of the primaries/Nin. DM might be best
Corrupter: Fire/Kin, maybe Fire/Cold
Brute: DM/Shield probably, or Fire/Fire
MM: Thugs/Traps
Dom: Fire/Fire/Ice
