DC's Ultimate Savior is... *spoiler*

Looks like a panel was leaked from the newest issue of Brightest Day, revealing who the true bearer and protector of the white lantern should be. So what's everyone's thought on this? I wasn't really a fan of the character but still think it has potential.

...Do I need to say ***SPOILER BELOW*** if *spoiler* already appears in the subject line?...

Damit, I told myself I was done collecting heroclix after "DC 75". But if they come out with a Swamp Thing White Lantern, I may have to search him out on Ebay.

But remember, Swamp Thing isn't really Alec Holland, just his mind in an earth elemental. He even met Holland's soul in heaven once.

I approve of using characters that don't get the spotlight as much as others.

True, but what if the White Lantern brought back Alec Holland himself instead of the Plant Elemental that thought he was Holland for a while.

For some odd reason I keep thinking of Marve's Squirrel Girl when I read this

Now that you mention it, the alternate cover has Martain Manhunter as Earth, Aquaman as water, Firestorm as fire, and Hawkman and Hawkwoman as Wind/Air.

Well they are all elemental based. I wonder if the ones the white ring zapped into dust will be restored at the end of this?

When the white energy mentioned that if the forest it created in Green Arrow's city fell that things would be lost I began to suspect Swamp Thing as the new protector.

As to the body being decayed, I suspect the white ring will have no problem restoring it.

I was so hoping it was going to be Ted Kord. Ah well...

Martian Mahunter is avatar of Earth...
The Hawks are the avatar of Wind...

These two(3) should be switched imo...

MM can fly, go through walls, comes from space, change shapes, etc that are more related to air

The Hawks, while they can fly, are from egypt, have their very stable love, and look quite a bit more earth tone-ish...

Just my opinion.

Would that make Deadman or Hawk & Dove "heart"?

Right, but before the ending of the last Swamp Thing series, i think whoever was working on the title retconned a lot of the mythos to how it was before Moore took over the character.

Oh, that's hillarious. Are we expecting the Rainbow Lanterns yet? I'm having trouble taking either DC or Marvel seriously anymore.
