...seriously wonder why so many people dislike this TF. It's one of my favorite in the game right now!

quit ******** so much about this TF as I finally learn how to fight BM and not die so much. BTW I help some teammates earn their Master of Apex badge on the last run I did, so it's all good now.

Slowly weep as my gaming laptop is in the shop being fixed and I am unable to run it during its week as the WST. Curse ye cruel mistress fate. I love this SF and though I never got around to writing a guide for it, I would have loved to seen it being run as often as it is and getting even more people to like it.

What? What? Animated hair? Is that a pack? I always though it was a Power Primary we did not have access too because it was too OP.

They are blue patches of death. Not blue columns of death.

Or did you whip it back and forth like Neil Young sings about?

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

In all my runs, I've asked the team not to fly. However, can anyone confirm if spawning the floating blue patches in the air will actually hurt people below and above it?

I died at least 3 times running underneath patches the other day. At least once jumping into one I couldn't see. So yeah, both maneuvers will kill you pretty quick.

The "patch" is a sphere. It is not columnar.

You can get hurt being under one if it's too close to the ground. But you can easily get to the limit of your blast powers and leave lots of room for others to run underneath them. I've never had someone on the ground get hurt for being under the BRoD that spawned in my flight path.

The "do not fly" rule is unduly removing a excellent survival mechanism for squishies who would melt under Sword bosses. Swords have no ranged attack. The ranged attacks of the Champions have no mez. Flying is a huge benefit to ranged ATs. And if they get hit by a BRoD, the -fly drops them out of it to safety!

I find hovering just above melee range works best. Anyone that has their camera zoomed out (which is very helpful in the BM battle) will still be able to see and avoid the patch. A combination of flying high, but not high enough, and zoomed in cameras probably contribute to a lot of deaths.

Hm... after the Apex Task Force, I logged off to go get something to eat.

But before the Apex Task Force, I made sure to tell the person saying they'd never run one before to stand inside the blue fields for the bonus recovery against BM. >.>

See, I thought it was constipation. Figured maybe BM was too hard and you needed some stool softeners.

I really think they should have thought a little harder on naming Battle Maiden. The current acronym/abbreviation just leads to terrible jokes like that. They could have just named her War Maiden and avoided any bowel movement jokes entirely.

That's why I call it the Weekly Task Force instead of Weekly Strike Target: it makes a much better acronym. Especially when you're usually running them with a pug.

Hehe, this person was flying just high enough for me not to be able to see the blue patch, but low enough for me to be hit by it. And still got killed by floating swords.

Zooming out too far is....weird. I find it weird.

How big is the sphere? How high does the flying toon have to be to not get people below killed?

It's more like an oval sphere. You don't have to be too far above or below it to avoid damage.

I fly over them all the time. No biggie.
