Discussion: Animal Pack In Game Giveaway!

My main server is pinnacle, but when none of my oh let's call them friends (sg and vg mates) are on I play on virtue, so I will try to make one of the parties. When the animal pack was announced last week I made a toon named Annie Maul on pinnacle so I might try to bring her.

I hadda camp on the lawn next to the zombies to win the coralax costume a couple months ago; I think it's great to see an in-game way to win one of these. And of course I plan to buy the booster anyway, even if I do win (two accounts), but just try to keep me away!

I just found out I have a dentist appt I can't reschedule on Friday during the giveaway on Justice (and I'm at work earlier, and at the dentist from 4-6pm PST). So I will not be able to attend, to film or to try and win an Animal Pack. Crud.

Well, I never win anything anyway, so no real loss, I guess. But someone else will have to do filming duty.

I will try to get on the forums on Friday (it starts at noon where I am), but there is little to no chance I'll get in-game at the times that have been mentioned.

If all else fails, I'll just give more money away - it doesn't concern me, as I think this booster is definitely worth US$9.99 (if that's what is going to be charged...)

Well, I won't be able to make the party which is a pity because I do already have a big game hunter outfit for Adeon .

are they going to sell this pack at least or is this another bad addition to the game like the incarnates stuff? I wont even be able to get online until 3 or 4 am and never any other time as i have always said.

yeah according to a couple of different websites release date is the 23rd. I will deffinately be there on my tank Shondowakai. (Freedom) So I hope to see some of you there!

Hmmmn. I have a character on Virtue named Hyeness who would be perfect for this party. Her costume is the wildest thing I've ever done in the game.

But I have money and I want to buy the pack, to support the studio.

Should I attend, or should I not...hmmn...

I just wish that I could buy the pack the same day they were giving it away to other people. Then it would be an easy decision.

For the Origins pack, when Avatea and TheOcho were doing giveaways for them, I was lucky enough to receive one.

As much as I like the idea of showing up for a chance to earn a free pack, I'm going to sit this one out and, as mentioned by others, 'vote with my wallet'. Paragon Studios is providing a lot of good, requested items in this pack; I'll be more than happy to toss some of my hard earned cash for a well done pack, in this regard.

I STILL won't buy the Party Pack though.

I think I'll go to the party, and if I win a code I have some poor friends who I know will appreciate it as a gift.

Yeah, I'll probably show up just to see the costumes, but I may not wear one that has any shot at winning. That way someone who can't afford the pack, or really wants to win it, has a better chance.

Cool notiion for a solid pack. I'm sure there will be some extremely creative entrants, but I'll just be around for the fun, as I'm willing to plunk down the cash for this pack. Value for money folks, keep that in mind =]. **retcons party pack **
