Ugh....just what I'd expect of Bay (He has his name as a web address? Really?!)
Explosions, 'Cool shite!' and...yeah...I bet the plot makes as much sense as...well, I run outta comparisons.
It's nice to see more Transformers, at least. But I note that the penchant for killing most off as soon as they appear is also back.

That works....ONLY if you give the main characters some depth (see War for Cybertron)

Cap is looking very interesting, and a small glimpse of Red Skull this time.

There's also been another trailer for Cowboys and Aliens, showing more alien tech.

Thor TV spot, pretty much rehash of footage we've seen before.... now with new 'n' improved 5% added Troll flavour.

And Cowboys & Aliens could really become great...loved the comic.

The Cap trailer surprised me. Much more excited about it now.

I first thought the TF3 ad was for Battle LA due to the alien ships in the sky. Now that would be a different for a TF movie.

Thor, nothing new.

Oh and funniest ad for me, Roseann being clocked by a tree Snicker's commercial. Bud needs to fire their ad company, Doritos need to hire one, Pepsi Max ones were dumb and the NFL one where they digitally painted NFL swag into classic TV scenes just prove there are too many people who know how to use photoshop.

Yeah, the SB commercials were really lame this year.

I think the 'best' one was the Snickers commercial (the one you mentioned FatherXmas).


Doritos' ones were definitely stupid/sick/weird/what have you...


But yeah, I talked to my brother (who was working last night) and said, "the best commercials have been teasers/trailers for movies...Thor, Captain America and TF3."

Although I'm not holding my breath on TF3....even in the trailer there was a lot of 'action' but it was moving so fast you couldn't see what was happening (one of my bigger complaints in the TF movies but especially in TF2).

Oh and just thinking about it now but in the Cap. America trailer (and posters) it has "Avenge" in it; getting people ready for "The Avengers"?

Well, afaik the complete titel is Captain America: The first Avenger, so... yes.

All 5 of the trailers I saw in and around the Super Bowl broadcast made me excited for this summer's crop of movies: Thor, Captain America, Transformers 3, Cowboys and Aliens, and Fast Five.

Movies lately have just been lacking that flair.

Loved finally seeing Thor on tv...there were a few new scenes in this trailer....the scene of some creature right before he throws the hammer and the scene where Jane asks "Who are you?" and Thor says "You will see soon enough"...and she replies "god i hope you are not crazy" which causes Thor to chuckle...

Trailers I saw last night that were knew to me (since I do not get American commercials due to being a Canuck):

Thor: Was excited before I saw this trailer, and the little bits added to it make me want to watch it more.

Capt A: First trailer released it looks good in my books. I am glad they did not make Capt go all Liefeld on us. Tight compact, human looking.

Cowboys & Aliens: Well there is not much to say other than the title and cast list says it will be awesome.

PotC-OST: New trailer I saw for this got me stoked for the new film. I am glad they kept the character I enjoyed most in it (Barbosa) and the added snippets show it should be having a fun time.
