What do you do in the Reactor Room?

Ok, you want a respec? You know you want that respec don't you? Well you can't have it! You gotta wait 30 minutes in a radioactive room that constantly gets attacked by Air Pirates, in a red bubble because safety gear is for squares. However, you got you some IOs, so give an Indian Burn and BAM! You have defeated Porter. However, while they are all dead, how do you pass the time for 30 minutes? I take out my Imps, don't let them have a bubble, and let them die...slow...

I run in circles around the walkways

I like playing Defenders, so most of the time, I'm scurrying around buffing people during the breaks in between fights since it's harder to do when there are a bunch of enemies on the screen.

Do you really have to buff them? Like I said, its almost impossible to fail these days unless you have some high difficulty . Like I said, I have Imps, I'm a Fire/Kinetic, and I don't even touch SB during that last mish, I whip out the boombox and dance as my Imps desummon (if that's a word) themselves .

I Alt+Tab to my browser and surf the internet.

Used to be I could do that easily and leave only the bottom sliver visible because people would shout the number where the spawns are, so I could see when a spawn happened. Now, because the Trial is so trivial, I have to actually pay attention (kinda)!

In the reactor room right now. Browsing the forums in between waves.

There is a spot between doors 1 and 8 where you can see pretty much every door in the room by looking just left and right. I generally park my toon there between waves and do a mixture of chatting in Team chat and my SG chat.

Occasionally, if no one else is doing it, I will just sit by the reactor and guard that in case anything slips through.

Run at +4, takes away a lot of the downtime and makes it a bit of a challenge.

Tbf I tend to do this with freaks rather than skyraiders.

I just do the treespec instead. Now with GR I had all my Heroes and Villains go Vigilante and Rogue so they can team on the other side, so that's not a problem anymore.

I will never do the Terra Volta trial again.

My Dom flys in circles with no bubble, showing off that her regen is high enough to cancel the damage ticks. Either that or I sit in the middle of the reactor core.

I still need the last damage badge so it helps a little

I usually put an attack on auto, follow a friend and take a nap. 15-minute duration is more or less my sweet spot, which is perfect timing for the respec as I'll be up by the time the final waves come in.

I use whatever the reactor core healing powers name is on other players for the luls.

Strangely enough, I've never done a respec trial. The standing around waiting for the waves of enemies thing sound a bit like the "stop 30 Fir Bolg" mission. Except of course you can run around beating on Fir Bolg while you're waiting.
