  1. While being a child, Marcus Cole and Stefan Richter drank from the Furies Well. Marcus Cole became Statesman and Stefan Richter became Spiderman. Statesman went to City while Spiderman went to Rogue. They are enemy. Many villains like not Statesman, like Chief of Clowns, Emperor Cold, Frost of Fire, and King Clockwork. Statesman fight all of them, he is strong. Spiderman also is not like him, so they fight.
  2. Hmm, looks like back in those days, 50'ing wasn't just a pain for me. Amazing how today it takes about say, 3 months?
  3. Hiya people, how ya doing? I'm bored, so Imma do something that is not boredifying.

How long does it take you to get to 50? For me, my first i0 started 50 took 3 years. Only problem was, by the time he was level 8, it was i2. (It took THAT long) So I got some Hollows action and got to 10 and- yeah, you know the rest. However, 6 years later, I don't have this problem anymore. Much easier today. So, how long did it take one of your toons to get to 50? Might need to be a little clear on it though, so here is a pretty explanatory way of putting it:

    Toon Name.
Yes, No, Or a Little if they were farmed.
When they were made and when they hit 50.
If you could remember, how long it took.

Sorry if there is already a thread on this, Search says no, but I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed either way. Also, let this thread be a lesson to all you complaining how long it takes to get to the big 5-0. Here's mine:

    Lunar Tempest
    No
    i0-i9
    3 Years
  4. Yes, he IS in it to help the Super group for their motives, not for his own self gain. However, the Rogue Tip Missions strike me as not in it for yourself, but more to make a good profit (not EXACTLY the same thing). No one says how the profit would be used, even if it means to fund a Supergroup.

    Otherwise, good opinon, and appreciated.

If anyone else feels to add their thoughts, go ahead.
  5. Ok, so I made a character who's concept is supposed to be a Vigilante who raises funds for his Supergroup. However, he is totally devoted and an extremist, so he would do things such as rob a bank if it means getting the money for the group. Bad things for good reasons, sounds Vigilante, eh? However, we also got Rogues, who specialize in that type of stuff. I am thinking I might make him become a Rogue, but stay in the Supergroup (even if it means no base access). That seems it would make ALOT more sense, but so would being a Vigilante in this case. I'm stumped. Anyone have any thoughts on which alignment to make him?

    Music Bug?

Hey all, ever since i17, I would have the problem of that if I were to enter another neighborhood (blue markered area, not zone) while another neighborhood's music was playing, the first neighborhood I was in's music will continue to play while the other one doesn't even start. I always thought it was a bug that would be fixed, but ever since i19, I started to give up hope . If its not a bug, I really hope we get the option to atleast change it back to the way it used to be, even if its something as small as that, its quite annoying, it makes the game look WAY more quiet. Has anyone else had this problem?

You can't see, no one can see. The Devs nerfed blind so people will like Illusion Control slightly less so they can not get drops which would be sold to stalkers so they can PvP, and if the stalkers can't PvP, no one will play them, making the new fog effects of the weather that hide your character no longer be added due to the stalkers' uselessness. Less stalkers mean less villains, making the redside more barren which will make the devs start to lose money and soon enough need to close down and we lose CoV. However, having the redside was a vital component to the Praetorian programming when they reach 20, so no one will want to be a Crusader due to them being way less evil when they go to Prime, so that meant less Praetorians, so they closed down Praetoria. However, Praetoria was a vital part of the lore which can't exist without it, so they had to take out the Incarnate Arc, which made AE babies mad because they can not become "epicz godz" so they lost many customers and since they also took out the Incarnate badges, the badgers left, and since there were less badgers to team with, the PvE crowd left, and since there were no people to help with leveling, the RP crowd got frustrated and left. Since there were no heroes to keep him at bay, Nemesis managed to escape the code, and take over the world, forcing us all to be his slaves forever, making CoH be "gone to the Automatons."
  8. Grandville is called Grandville due to the fact out of all the villes, Grandville is the grandest, which is why the people who founded Grandville named it Grandville, so next time you go to Grandville, remember how it got the name Grandville. Now, back to getting badges in Grandville.
  9. hay guyz, i jus gut mah 1st 50 frum monkies whar i getz lots of xps, sos i lik, did that tim trvl thing wit dat mndar, n like, i did those force task thing, n i gots lots of thoz shards evn tho i jus did nuthin, it madez mes uberly epics n i cn nao pwn u all n00bs HA HA HA HA HA urz all nubz
  10. Darrin Wade's arc rewards you nothing but a badge.
  11. I don't get this, why does Darrin Wade just contact you out of the blue. No specific badge or anything. Is murdering midnighters that big of a deal? I never do his arc, too evil for my tastes . Still though, what makes him so important to not need a badge to unlock him?
  12. I figure that base the villains took over in Naylor's arc (it was shut down, but they could restart it I guess?) would be a nice tool here. Maybe Darrin Wade would make a nice Shadow Shard contact, he seems to be the one person who WANTS Rularuu and his pet Shadow Sharks to come out and kill us all.
  13. Ok, first off I'm gonna say the new animations look much smoother then the others, gotta give the devs some credit, they ain't so bad. (DON'T TROLL ME BRO! I AIN'T DONE YET! ) Well, that is as long as we can expect to see more in the future. But I gotta say it is a great start, I hated the original blast animations, they were all chunky-like. The only one I didn't like was all of the aims, which looks a little...weird. Anyway, with BaB I bet they would be much better, but these are still great overall (minus aim). Ok NOW you can troll me, how dare I be optimistic.
  14. Don't even joke about that Rad...
  15. I bet Shadow Shark is the secret son of Ghost Widow and Captain Mako
  16. Am I the only one who thinks Shadow Shard should be co-op? I mean come on, Co-Op is always to face bigger threats than 1 side can handle. I think a dimensional god who can destroy all of existance should be opposed by villains too, I mean they will die as well. Also, its hard for villains to get the Rularuu weapons compared to the heroes who have like, 4 zones full of Rularuu minions. Anyone else agree with this? The only fault is that Technician Naylor's arc will need to be revised a little, I don't think its smart to take over Longbow's Shadow Shard base when you are helping them out.

Edit: Aww, title typo, ignore that.
  17. I like this idea, really is awkward to do a STF, beating up all those people with the same logo as you.
  18. That's awful confuzzling, the Bane Spider bio (yeah I read that stuff) says they were taken from the Wolf Spiders...I guess Recluse will do anything for a good minion.
  19. I'm probably late to catch on to this, but I rarely do redside so...yeah. Anyway, I am on my Bane Spider, and I chose to pick the devil, uh Westin Phipps, as my next contact. I recently got a mission saying all Bane Spiders are people who mind controlled themself...does that mean my Bane Spider mind controlled himself? I don't get it, can someone explain it to me please?
  20. Do you really have to buff them? Like I said, its almost impossible to fail these days unless you have some high difficulty . Like I said, I have Imps, I'm a Fire/Kinetic, and I don't even touch SB during that last mish, I whip out the boombox and dance as my Imps desummon (if that's a word) themselves .
  21. Ok, you want a respec? You know you want that respec don't you? Well you can't have it! You gotta wait 30 minutes in a radioactive room that constantly gets attacked by Air Pirates, in a red bubble because safety gear is for squares. However, you got you some IOs, so give an Indian Burn and BAM! You have defeated Porter. However, while they are all dead, how do you pass the time for 30 minutes? I take out my Imps, don't let them have a bubble, and let them die...slow...
  22. Ooh cool trick, thank you, that solved my problem...till zoning of course...
  23. I know I am not the only one who hates this, that backpack and the fact that banes who have no use for it but still have to wear it is torture. I say that the backpack should only come out when you use a power that calls for it (so Banes wouldn't have to be bothered, but if they do want it...read on) and it would be a back detail if someone wants it out at all times...pretty sure you couldn't use a cape now while you have the backpack anyway, anyone else agree with this idea?
  24. Ok, I think it is known that if you finish STF or LRSF in the same day, you can't get the HO again. So, with Going Rogue out, Vigilantes and Rogues can go to both areas, so does that mean you can do both and get a HO from each, or can you only get 1 HO per day regardless of which TF you finished?
