Tim Sweeney: So much of the game had become de facto balanced around players having Fitness that it really hasn't been a concern. We are more looking at balancing around what you do with your three "freed up" power selections.

They stated at the Bay Area M&G that there is a publishing blackout Thanksgiving week.
The Devs have lives too.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

well, whenever its coming out then. I have plenty on my plate to keep me busy.
Can't say that everyone else is willing to wait. I guess... expect some noise?

I am a curious as all get out to what this "re balancing" for these freed up powers will be.
Perhaps more slots? If so, I smell a respec!

No on slots. the only 'extra slots' we get is the free one that comes with selecting a new power. We must be frugal.

"Balancing" not "rebalancing." In this context Tim is just saying that by adding inherent fitness, the devs have made us a bit more powerful relative to the PvE content. That's something that has to be watched carefully to make sure it doesn't change the reward-earning curves of the game too dramatically. I doubt it will, but its something I'm sure the devs will be watching very closely.

Yeah...getting hopes up about getting additional enhancement slots is a fruitless endeavor. I'm not sure how many times Castle and others have to say "No more slots" before people understand that.
Incarnate abilities are supposed to, among other things, allow you to keep your current power levels with less enhancements, since their abilities affect ALL powers. That should allow you to free up a slot or two from something you'd normally slot more heavily and put those slots in the three new powers that Inherent fitness frees up. It may not work this way with just the Alpha slot for every powerset and AT, but I'm sure that's a design goal for the near future.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Massively: Will there be any live events to herald the incoming invasion of Praetorian forces?
Melissa Bianco: We will not be hosting any Live Events, as the content in issue 19 itself represent the invasion.

I call foul. If you gonna have a war you should have an live event, or it is just a shadow war and noone knows about it.

I'm of the mind we don't need more slots, but I would not be surprised (or angry) if one day they did give them to us.

As pointed out by more than one person in other threads, the devs are unlikely to hand out extra slots and upset balance when there is a new Incarnate system coming out (and when the Alpha slot basically serves as a universal enhancement... the very thing players who ask for extra slots with Fitness are asking for).
