So what's worse than dueling gold spammers in the Atlas Wentworths?

How about the one standing right next to you rocking the aura while spamming his garbage.

Grrrrrr!

He must have thought, "hey, how can I piss everyone off EVEN MORE than that other creep from the competing site? *snaps fingers* OH I KNOW!"

Is that why everything's been selling so high the last few days? I made a small fortune just dumping my garbage on the market.

I'm currently crafting my memorised recipes and dropping the results on the market for 5 inf... since when did a Level 40 jump IO (not a set one, just the generic IO) go for 800,000 inf?

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

Prices were crazy on lowbie stuff this weekend too. I posted some salvage on a new Dom I started up and was shocked when it started selling for tens of thousands per piece. We're talking lowbie common salvage like inanimate carbon rods. Very weird.

It's more likely to be a knock-on from some MA exploit (whatever this weeks one is) rather than the activity of RMTers.

When people are taking their characters to 50 in places that don't drop salvage, said characters tend to need to buy lots of salvage later on and enough of said characters drive the prices of common salvage up.

Especially when said characters are going from 1-50 in a day.

I have got to get all those recipes memorised on Alpha one day...
It suits his character, but it's a helluva slog to get them all done...

When they get particularly bad, I send a PM to Ocho about the number of spammers, location, and time they tend to show up. I think he had a GM waiting for them last time.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

"Cookie. Get a rope."

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

I am surprised they're still around. I have gotten only one spam email in the past several months.

Well that's the thing. They only "advertise" on trial accounts so that limits them to spamming in local so they hit the Atlas market due to its ease of access for a level 1 trial account.

As to 'goat's post I just came to the realization the bozo spammer probably thought it was "clever" to get the attention of his potential customers by rocking the healing aura.

I go to pay the rent and the lure of a market is irresistable to me.

Yeah, I doubt the RMTers have any real impact on the prices. I actually kinda like the prices of the common stuff getting so absurd; it gives me leave to go farm some tickets from the architect, and make bank flooding the market with common salvage and crafted IOs, listing them for 1 inf each. Drives the prices down and gets me serious money at the same time, it's a win/win!

It was pretty funny last night seeing that buying common salvage with tickets probably gave a better return than recipes with the depressed and flooded recipe market.

Thanks to whoever was giving me 250,000 inf per circuit board last night!

You're welcome! I didn't feel like waiting. It's what I call a win/win.
