Horrid Halloween Costume Drop Rates

I've now trick or treated on 5 different toons - solo and on teams. I haven't received one costume drop, yet each of the 5 toons got the Clothes Horse badge, which I thought was tied to costume drops. Each time it has been in a level appropriate zone, so I think that can be ruled out.

I've contacted support and I got a "working as intended" reply.

This is not WAI. I am on a toon right now that I made for GR, so this is her first time ToTing. I have progress showing towards clothes horse, yet I do not have a single temp costume power anywhere in my inventory. I have another toon who was made earlier this year, first time ToTing...she obtained clothes horse an hour ago and again, no temp costume powers in her inventory. I've scrolled through the entire power tab and looked through all of my bars...nothing.

This is bugged. Big time.

Are you teamed or solo? If you're teamed, they may have listened to us and given the entire team credit for any costume drops that happen. This could be a problem for getting the new Halloween tip, though.

I've gotten plenty of costume powers through Trick or Treating. Not sure if you've just been met with a streak of bad luck or what. The progress bar seems bugged, but their actual drop rate seems to be pretty much tied with salvage hand-outs.

One thing to remember.

If you are on a character that already has credit for a particular costume drop, we'll use a totally fictitious temp costume called Emporer Cole, if that particular costume drops again you won't see it drop since you already have it but it will count towards the Clothes Horse badge.

Same problem, I just got the badge for 10 costume drops, however I have yet to see a single costume anywhere in my inventory, temp powers. This is a new character as well
(44) and never done the halloween stuff yet on this toon.

Seems a few others ingame are always having the same issue. I'd really like to be able to put one of these costumes on, that I am suppose to have =\

I got costumes on my level 20 Brute, solo in Praetoria.
I got costumes on my level 50 Stalker, solo and teamed in Peregrine Isle.

I am not getting any costumes, but am getting progress, on my 28 Blaster, full team, in Peregrine. Two other members of the team have the same issue. I'll try solo later.
On this character I also get Costume Salvage as a Treat, and I thought it was tied to killing Tricks (which is seems to work on my other characters). I almost never get Treats though.

Tricks seem to be far more likely on teams, but look to be about 50/50 solo.

If you're lookin' to get costume drops, try shunning all your friends.

Having the same problem. Very old toon, but he'd been set aside since forever ago and hasn't done any Halloween stuff till now. I have occasionally noticed that I get a "treat" and get nothing (open space in the insp tray and power tray, nothing mentioned in the rewards channel). I think this may be where I'm getting the credit towards Clothes Horse/etc. It's as if I'm getting the drops, but they're getting lost somewhere before they show up on my trays.

I had the same problem, but I may have figured this out.

My toon was on a team with level 50's in Grandville, but was only a 38 himself, outside of the zone level range. I think he got credit for costumes others on the team earned, or maybe the ones he would have gotten, but got none himself because of his natural level.

My experience indicates level range is the bugaboo.

Solo or team, lvl 50 in PI, lots of working costume drops.

When SSK'd in PI, I had progress toward badges, but no costumes to be found.

I didn't think I was getting any either, till I looked in my other trays. There they were.

I was getting credit for costumes without any actual costumes dropping. In approx three hours of ToTing, only the team leader got costumes as drops. (yes I looked in trays and in power list)

I was in a level approriate area the entire time.

Very annoying.

Trying again, Playing in a level appropriate zone dropped a costume for me.

Last night I was playing on my 35ish Brute, SKed to a 50, in PI and did not get a SINGLE costume drop.

Now, I did get the badges for Clothes Horse, etc but never ever got a costume temp power.

The Brute was created in Praetoria so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Play time was approx 3 hours.

I'm going to try solo in a level appropriate zone later tonight.

I don't think it's tied to Praetoria because out of the 5 toons I tested, only one was from Praetoria. Looking at the responses, the issue seems to be tied to SSK. Whatever it is, I'm at least glad to see I wasn't the only one.

I soloed this morning and after only 10 minutes of play I had 8 temp costumes drop, as well as the halloween tip mission.

Now, for the last 2 hours or so I have ben SSKed to a team running in PI. I am a in the high 30's. I have had no costumes drop since. Nor have I had them drop on the character I have switched to, also SSKed up.

It looks like if you want costume drops, you're going to have to solo.
