I'm sorry guys, but I have to bow out of this. I'm busy packing this weekend and I move next weekend.

I'm passing on the water team this weekend. I have too many other things to work on during double xp and I only really have 1.5 days of 2xp rather than the whole 3, so I want to make use of the time.

I will try and be there for the start. I have a 26 water/kin I've been playing and it's fantastic. I think water blast has trumped fire as being my favorite blast set.

I'm in for water blast if you guys pick that.

There sure is a lot of talk about putting out Steel Canyon fires.

I haven't seen anyone in the past 2 years putting them out.

The point of a SuperTeam is to take 1 powerset (in this case Dark Control) and stack it's affects to get the best possible results from it.

Sure, other ATs get access to Dark sets, but Dark Control is new and shiny and everyone that replied to this has a gold name - meaning they'll get the set for free. I chose Virtue for it's high pop with friendly folks and due to the fact that if any Premiums (or even Freebies) decided to buy the set, they could join along without being left behind the velvet rope of Exalted.

I do like xeaon's suggestion of making a global channel for this group so that anyone that wishes to stay with their own SG can do so without having to sacrifice anything. When I can get on tonight (I'm travelling back home from a work trip) I'll create a global channel for folks to join.

Channel name will be "Dark Control ST" to keep things easy.

Lots of views, but no interest. It seems this kind of thing is a tough sell.

With the announcement of Issue 22 today, I figured it as good a time as any to roll up a new SuperTeam!

The SuperTeam participants must be either a Dark Control Dominator or Controller - secondary choice is up to you. All I ask is that whatever secondary you choose, it should be colored dark to match the control set. Since there will be enough -ToHit to choke a horse, I don't think we'll have to worry about any Leadership toggles. However, if you feel the need to get them I won't stop you.

Hero Force is nice enough to give a home to this SuperTeam, so all coordination can be done through Coalition chat and there is an already established base. There are 10 subsets of Hero Force so there's plenty of room for everyone.

We'll start on Issue 22 opening day (3/6) at 9pm EST and meet at Sunstorm in Atlas Plaza. Play times will be Tuesdays, Thursdays starting at 8pm EST and Saturdays all day.

I'm thinking Dark/Psi, should make a nasty combo.

As a side note, if there's enough interest, would anyone want to roll an all Dark control theme team (Dom n' Troll) once it launches? 8 stacked sets of -ToHit would be wonderful to see with a pack of 8 shadow beasts.

I'd be happy to put one together, but would like to see the amount of interest. Server would most likely be Virtue since not everyone is VIP.

First day of official start and a whole 3 of us on. Just to recap to make things easier for people considering joining:

1. Ice/Earth theme team
2. meets daily at 7pm EST - join when you can
3. Winter ST - Exalted is the channel name to ask for invite
4. Have fun with a bunch of people you just met

I'm back from hiatus and in for this. I might actually make a buffer since they made it easier to shield/sb while I was gone.

I usually took Mu on all of my doms before I18 went live. The pet has a single target heal he will randomly use on you. It doesn't have an AoE attack, but it summons 2 voltaic sentinals which between the 3 of them blasting, may seem like an AoE.

Now that doms have access to Fire and Ice mastery sets, it's hard to not take these AoE heavy sets.

It doesn't allow auto-complete, so each person has to run it. With a team, can probably blast through each one fast.

Wow, I got my first ever MoTD after all these years of playing.

I got word back from a more capable GM. Apparently, you're not supposed to get temp powers outside of your level, but it's not supposed to block costumes. So it looks like a patch is needed. So if you want costumes, solo or be the team lead.

Try out the combo in the gravity team starting Wednesday on Virtue!

I don't think it's tied to Praetoria because out of the 5 toons I tested, only one was from Praetoria. Looking at the responses, the issue seems to be tied to SSK. Whatever it is, I'm at least glad to see I wasn't the only one.
