It's summertime. What was better as a kid than running around with Super Soakers, drenching any poor passerby from head to toe? Well, come join us as we try to reproduce those good times with the new Water Blast powerset!

Power/Build Requirements:

• You must choose either Blaster, Defender, or Corruptor as your archetype.
• You must include at least 6 of the Water Blast powers in your build.
• You may choose any primary (for Defenders) or secondary (for Corruptors and Blasters) to compliment Water Blast.
• Team-focused powers are great; Leadership, Teleports, and Medicine are always useful.
• You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo or PVP build.

Miscellaneous Details:

• Our first meeting will take place Friday, July 20th, 2012 at 8pm ET on the giant star between Praetors Duncan and White in Nova Praetoria.
• We'll be coordinating the group through use of a global channel named "Justice Superteamers". Everyone participating on this team must join the channel.
• Once we've graduated from Praetoria, we'll more than likely transfer ourselves to Paragon City to start, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes so we can enjoy what the Rogue Isles have to offer.
• We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, AE, Tips, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc).
• There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier.
• Super-Sidekick makes teaming incredibly easy. If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level, any time. Just note that if you're significantly beyond the rest of the team in terms of level, you should expect to exemplar down to the rest of the team most of the time.
• You should read Synapse's rundown of the new powerset here.

Now that I think about it, I got 2.5 different characters to 50 with the Time team, so I'll likely roll a support toon and blaster.

Currently watching the coffee talk on Twitch TV. There is some good changes coming to blast sets in I24. Tier 9 nukes are having their recharge reduced, will be made crashless and have their damage normalized. Geyser, the Water Blast nuke, was already crashless, but it's recharge was reduced by about a minute. I predict that after the team hits 32 or 38 in some cases, we'll just be a group of rolling nukes slaughtering everything in sight. It's going to be beautiful.


There's also changes being made to ancillary pools. There's a thread here with more info. It looks like there's some really positive and needed changes coming in I24. After seeing the changes to fighting and presence, I'm really curious what's being done with the other ancillaries. This will give us greater flexibility in builds.

I will try and be there for the start. I have a 26 water/kin I've been playing and it's fantastic. I think water blast has trumped fire as being my favorite blast set.

<sigh> Makes me wish 1. I had points on my account right now and 2. I had the money to buy points before next week. Likely be a few weeks before I can spare any real money for buying game points. <deeper sigh> Oh well, if I free up some cash in the next few weeks maybe i'll grab some points, buy WB and play catch up!

Well, as was obvious form the two toons I played with the JST group, if I really like a character I tend to play it as much as possible.

Hence, Morgan shot up to 50 like a rocket and the kat/dark scrapper toddled along at the groups level or slightly behind. I was having computer issues at that point so I definitely wasn'y playing as much, period.

I like ranged toons these days and everything i've seen/heard about Water Blast makes me think i'd play the ... heck...out of it whether I went Blaster, Corruptor or Defender.

It's certainly my plan to treat myself to some points soon and right now Water Blast and a 3rd enhancement tray lead the pack for what i'd like to buy. So, hopefully i'll manage to at least join you all on occasion.

...if I can drag myself aware from my badger!

I think I'll sit this one out. As you may have guessed from my complete absence from the Time team lately, I haven't been able to spend as much time in game as I'd like. I should have a lot more free time in a couple of semesters.

THIS IS TOMORROW!

Everyone is welcome so roll up a Water Blast alt and meet us on the big star in Nova Praetoria. I'll definitely be there. Still playing with a couple character concepts. I took them out for a spin and they are 4-5; hope that's ok. I went Loyalist, but doubt it will matter.

To anyone checking out the thread who has not teamed up with us before, the core group of the Justice Superteamers are a fun group of mature gamers who are very casual friendly. We go out of our way to make sure everyone is able to participate and having fun. Team and channel chat always makes me laugh. New players are welcome. Come out on Friday and have some fun!

If you can't make it Friday at 8pm EDT, latecomers are always welcome. We'll make sure you get caught up, even if you don't make the first few sessions.

And with a new team, comes the need to reassign toon names to globals.At least EF will still be EF, and I'll be PC, but imagine if others bring toons with those initials
