Obligitory silly Alpha Slot question..

Let me preface this by saying that i was & am still vastly overworked & tired when my a few sg mates & i ran Mender Ramiel's arc last nite...

So, we ran & completed it, but the leader was the only one that got the 'Alpha Unlocked' badge. Is it safe to say that he was the only one of the team that actually unlocked the slot & that we all had to get the mish from Rami? The other teammate & i didn't get the message either that said that we now have access to pwers that make us way cooler than u..

Are we the only people that have run into this?

It doesn't allow auto-complete, so each person has to run it. With a team, can probably blast through each one fast.

No, you're not alone. It doesn't allow for Complete Mission, yes--but it also doesn't cooperatively complete about 50% of the time. And that goes for all the missions in the arc.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

Everyone needs to have the mission and do the talking bits seperately, but the missions themselves autocomplete just fine for the whole team.

When the Co-op fails... are you all definetly talking to the contact before the mission? I know I forgot to on one round and I think someone forgot to talk to lady grey too.

bah! Thank you. lol atleast i know what to expect. i did enjoy beating up on Posi & Imperious. i didn't like the Praetoria style FU ambushes at the end of that one mission. Guess i'll just drop the diff all the way..

Everyone that wants an Alpha slot does have to talk to Ramiel and take the missions.

Co-op completion worked fine for all 4 members of our team last night and everyone got unlocked. 3 of the members of the team (all but me) had run the same arc just an hour earlier with another set of characters in a 5-man team and they all co-oped that one fine as well. If there is a chance it doesn't work it is far less than a 50% failure rate.

Haha Golden! Well i do have that Irish luck. That always puts within that 50 percentile.

Yes, I'm sure. The one that it most painfully and obviously happened on was Defeat Trapdoor. All three of us on the team had it, and after completing the mission only one person was able to move on. The rest of us had to defeat Trappy again.

The only thing I can suggest is checking your co-op mission complete settings. I dual-box, and my 2nd account is set to automatically accept mission completes for matching missions. Ran through the whole arc with 2 sets of pairs, and each mission was completed once per pair, with each character getting credit. However, if your settings are to automaticallly reject co-op mission completes, then you will have to run the same mission multiple times.

LOL Believe me, the RNG hates me too - electronic or old-fashioned dice. "Lucky in love..." I keep telling myself.

I have some silly Alpha Slot questions of my own. Has a guide already been written for the Incarnate stuff? If so I'll just go there but if not...

How many shards to craft a component and how? I looked at the Incarnate window and found how to craft boosts but not how to craft components... maybe I need to look at it longer than 15 seconds but just didn't have time last night.

How many different components are there?

I hear the boosts aren't locked in... How difficult is it to switch them out?

And the biggy... Do the TF's award a choice of components or do specific TF's allow only certain components?

simply select a different one that you have already crafted. Has a small cool down timer for switching them, not sure exactly how long but its very short.

i just call it inverted kharma...

from what i know, the amount of shards varies, but they're far from being the most efficient way of getting a boost.

the components needed per boost are listed in that window.

...and it sounds like TF's will only give you certain components. & thanks to warpus. i was looking for that.

5 minutes for slot cool down and I believe you can't change them inside a mission.

Woeful Knight (BS/Regen/Body Scrapper)
Kevin Christian (MC/FF/Primal Controller)
SilverCybernaut (Eng/Dev/Munitions Blaster)

*sigh* You do know that 50% means half, right?
