  1. Again, you're right Doughboy. So i followed your sugguestions & now have 38% s/l def. i just couldn't fit Perfect Zinger in. Thanks for your input. i didn't really have a goal to start with, i guess. i just wanted my main toon to be awesome. This is a good place to start. i guess i'll see how this feels & go from there.

    Yea, they're some good numbers, Oracle, but i really don't feel like the leadership pool right now. It's pretty good, though. lol i might totally rework him in Mids just for the practise..

    O yea. No one explained the changes- the Rage & Hasten crash are similar now, at least as far as endurance goes. Either will bite off close to half your end.

    Edit: Also, there's a huge damage debuff that comes with the Rage crash. You'll suddenly only be hitting for 6 with KO BLow. That's the most i notice..
  3. i'd have to echo what Twilight said. That & when leveling up a brute, i give end redux the priority, then dam res or whatever. It's not easy & it'll make you slightly squishie, but you won't pass out from exhaustion nearly as often, you'll be able to keep moving, & keep drumming up Fury if you three slot your secondaries with end redux first. You should have enough slots by now to make that happen.
    That & Knock out Blow and Foot Stomp have about the same end cost, because they're so awesome. i think i'd give FS 1 more end redux than KO since it recharges a lot faster. I did that on my ss/wp & it pretty much fixed the problem. You might want to rethink the whole Hasten & Rage thing, too. Those two crashes taken together at the wrong time are terrible. Actaully, they're terrible all the time IO's & accolades would of course remedy this, that and some of the blue side Epic powers for brutes. It all smooths itself out by lvl 50 either way. Hope that helps a little..

  6. i messed around with it some more, using some of Ice Ember's sugguestions. A few things- i couldn't four slot jab out with Kinetic combat, so i left it empty. Health & Stamina are other loose ends. Everything else is as i'd want it to. Getting a little better, i guess..

    i could go for some more recharge, but i'm trying to get that globally through io's. i know Fury is the brute's thing, but it isn't what it used to be. More & more, atleast with SS/ brutes, it seems like they slot for damage instead of accuracy and end redux.

    from what i know, the amount of shards varies, but they're far from being the most efficient way of getting a boost.

    the components needed per boost are listed in that window.

    ...and it sounds like TF's will only give you certain components. & thanks to warpus. i was looking for that.

  15. Let me preface this by saying that i was & am still vastly overworked & tired when my a few sg mates & i ran Mender Ramiel's arc last nite...

    So, we ran & completed it, but the leader was the only one that got the 'Alpha Unlocked' badge. Is it safe to say that he was the only one of the team that actually unlocked the slot & that we all had to get the mish from Rami? The other teammate & i didn't get the message either that said that we now have access to pwers that make us way cooler than u..

    Are we the only people that have run into this?
  16. Wow. Thanks for the input. First thing, like Blue said, i guess i will be taking Strength of Will in my freespec.
    Smashing/Lethal soft capped is another important thing to get. You're also right, Obitus, about not worrying too much about regen. If i get just the right amount resistance, my regen with it's minor bonuses will just heal up the damage that isn't soaked up.
    Nice set sugguestions there, Sonic. One thing i forgot to mention was that recharge was also high on my list, since i heard from an io'd tank that when stack Rage six times you don't crash at all. That was a while ago, so i'm not sure if it still works like that. To contradict that, i was intending to get the damage boost for his Alpha slot, since he is a brute & their main concern is achieving the smashgasm. Like you guys said though, it'll be hard to fit in a nice recharge bonus along with a Smashing/Lethal soft cap. This will take some tinkering..

    i've just gotten this toon to 50 & intend on IO'ing him out & taking advantage of the Incarnate System. He's been alot of fun & i can see alot of potential for even more fun. Since i've never done it before, i'd be very much grateful for whatever advice you people might have. Once i get my first freespec, he'll have Energy Mastery, mostly for the support powers. In SS/, i skipped taunt, handclap, & hurl. In /wp, resurgence & strength of will were skipped. So, before i waste alot of inf, i was hoping for some wisdom from those who know..

    Heh good idea. Y'know how they say power is corrupting. That much power would be pretty corrupting. i know it'd turn me the wrong way.. My intial thought would be how much more i can get away with since i'm now bullet proof. We'd definetly need someone to keep us in check. This is America, after all.   22. but i searched for it & found nothing. That being said:

    If you had to choose an archtype to actaully be, what would you choose, what power sets & why? i'll give 1 alt since i'm kinda torn myself.

    My first choice would be brute. Mainly because when something happens, i feel the need to get in it, get directly & physically involved, working w/my hands & contributing (hopefully a decent amount) to the effort. Bruting also suits my personality, since i have the Scotch/Irish temper (which was legendary by the time i was 14) & the German stubbornnes. So, i start swinging, get hit a few times & the reaction is 'YOU SONNUUUUVVVAA!' lol
    My power choice i guess would be the classic ss/inv, since i enjoy thet idea of just being that tough & that strong & just bringing about total ruin w/my fists... & being able to throw cars @ ppl

    Second would be stalker because i do enjoy sublety & stealth & tend to be a quiet person. i also have an odd habit of unintentionally sneaking up on people or walking into their blind spots. For that i'd choose ninja blade/dark (which i've never used) because i know how to use a two hand sword & enjoy the leverage & power you can get out of it & dark because it's always been a good place to hide.

    So enough about me, i was wondering what you guys thought. This is kind of an extension of what my friends would always do when we'd watch movies. We'd pick who were most like or just end being in that given situation.
