Anyone have recent experience with Mu pet?
I usually took Mu on all of my doms before I18 went live. The pet has a single target heal he will randomly use on you. It doesn't have an AoE attack, but it summons 2 voltaic sentinals which between the 3 of them blasting, may seem like an AoE.
Now that doms have access to Fire and Ice mastery sets, it's hard to not take these AoE heavy sets.
Mu pet is the only one worth a damn and thats only because it heals. What I did was go with a healing set instead of damage. I could careless if it hits anything or damages whatever. I mainly have it to spam heals as needed on the imps. Just be aware that getting it paired with gravity is a really bad idea. He will try to heal the singularity but the singularity cant be healed ever so its just wasting heals that could be going towards you if your low on health at the same time.

How much does it end up healing you guys for? I'm plant/fire/ice atm and I figured the radial recharge alpha would improve the heals on the pet and push it closer to perma if I got tired of ice. Also I have Spirit Tree, so I can get some more mileage out of the healing on it as well.
Its only going to heal if your more than 50% damaged so the amount of healing is going to depend on how well you control the situation.

I have a Mu guardian and that thing saved me several times during AV fights:
- Goddess Hequat
- Lord Recluse
I also use Power Surge which I activate when I tank Statesman in all Dom RSFs. PS will drain your end, so I keep Domination handy when it wears off.
Thanks guys.
Hiya. I've been thinking about giving Mu Mastery a try because I have enough recharge to finally get a patron pet really close to perma.
Anyway, I've read a handful of descriptions of the Mu pet, but they've all had very mixed takes on it, and are spread across several years, so it's hard to tell what feedback is accurate/current.
I hear that it doesn't actually cast a heal, but instead summons a pet which casts the heal for it. Last I read the AI was bugged and it wasn't summoning its pet routinely, if at all? Is that true, or has the AI been fixed? Does the heal end up being cast a noticeable amount?
Also some people have said it has an AoE attack, and I didn't see that listed anywhere. Does it actually have one?
Lastly, what are your overall impressions of the pet? Is it fun, useful, better left alone?
Thanks!
