Most interesting aspect of the pictures, why is the Crystal Titan there?

Also, to whom do the tentacles belong?

I think Reichsman and Rommy being there is just as surprising - it looks like they might have found the entrance cave in Cimerora where the Midnighters have their pillar of ice and flame.

But the point of the matter is, why are they here in Ouroboros?

I don't think it's the Coming Storm. I suspect that it's more to do with Incarnates given that there are two in that picture (if speculation about Hami having become one is true).

Maybe you get the chance to fight all of them in Ouroboros to earn the Alpha Slot?

Oh wow, didn't notice that, thought they were just random "player characters".

Hmmm... there are three other figures. Someone next to Romulus and two over on the left. Can't make out who they are.

Alright.

What we know so far.

The Ghost Writer from Ouroborus and other places has predicted a coming storm. And threatened Ouroborus itself with annihilation.

We know that Cole pushed back the Devouring Earth that went nutzoid in Praetoria. Cole defeated the Hamidon there, and established his city safe from the rampant DE threat.

At the end of the I:18 content from the new arcs for Tina and Maria, and the Praetorian Arcs. Cole is set to launch an invasion of Primal Earth, viewing Primal Earth as needing Saving.

This appears to be the "coming storm" foretold in the letters and by the Ouroborus Menders.

What we know about I19.

There will be a new, High level Co-Op Task force to lead into the Alpha Incarnate stuff.

There will be the beginning of Cole's Invasion.

Ouroborus is under attack , and from the other screen shots, so is KR. Since thats the Police HQ in the back ground, looking the worse for wear.

Rampant Speculation

Cole's invasion is the coming storm and that's apparently something Ouroborus is fighting against.

Cole has intel in Primal Earth and he'd have to see Ouroborus, with it's time-line altering abilities as a threat.

My guess... Cole is the one writing the letter's, he's been trying to incite heroes in primal earth not to trust Ouroborus. He sees them as a threat to his plan and he is going to make it his primary target.

In the pictures there are tentacles. BIG Tentacles. They don't look familiar, they don't look like Lusca or the Hydra.

So I'm thinking Cole attacks Ouroborus.... With PRAETORIAN HAMIDON!

Think about it....

We know he beat it, he could have captured it. (In fact I think some of the Praeotorian Arcs alluded to them having the Hamidon creature in captivity some where.)

And the Going Rogue site, in Cole's bio, goes out of it's way to state that Praetorian Hamidon has claws and tentacles. Which I always thought was a weird detail to throw in, if they didn't plan on using it.

Cole Attacks Ouroborus by unleashing the Praetorian Hamidon he captured, all over it.

And we get to fight it! It would certainly be worthy of Incarnate level heroes, and an EPIC fight...

/End Speculation.

Edit: I see a Giant crystal DE monster there in Ouroborus as well. That DE presance makes me think even more,, Praetorian Hamidon VS Ouroborus...

One of them looks like Imperious - which would be kinda interesting - like he went rogue, perhaps, and now he and Rommy are BFF? Or their lovers' argument is over, and now they're an item again?

That would be a little more demanding than the arc to unlock the Midnighter Club

Ouroboros sure seems wrecked though... What could cause this much damage to a pocket dimension? Could it be a space-time/dimensional disturbance (coming storm?), I mean to affect Ouro like that you would have to effect the time stream something large.

What I find interesting is the red lightning cracking in the background.

Hmm perhaps it is a 'meet the Incarnates' thing where each one tells you their story.

Hmm...got Reichsman, Imperious and Augustus.

The figure by the far side I swear is Statesman, I think I can make out red and blue colours of the outfit but not sure if that is just my head messing with me BUT it also has the same Invulnerability aura that both Imperious and Reichsman are using.

The one next to possible Statesman though I have no idea.

I figure the Crystal Titan is there as Hamidon's Representative.

Perhaps something about time and space colliding, which if left to happen will bring about the destruction of all realities.

Well although it's been denied, I remain unconvinced that Romulus Augustus and Romulus the Warshade are two entirely distinct entities.

Last I looked, I don't think Romulus is an Incarnate. He's just been filled full of Purple Nictus Love (tm).

As for the Coming Storm... I think we should ask the Rikti.

He's not an Incarnate as of Issue 18. We don't know the full details of the story behind Issue 19.

As for the Rikti being related to the Coming Storm, gosh I hope not, I'd hate to see a second retread of that. And why should they care about Ouroboros?

Fair point. Who knows what Rommy's been drinking while we've all been in Praetoria?

As for the Rikti, I think they know what the Coming Storm is because they've fought them before.

I don't recall that. What are you referencing?

There was once rumoured to be a group called The Battalion in the works that were so strong they would require special weapons, created via the Inventions system, to defeat. Supposedly they and the Rikti had had conflicts before.

It may not be anything important, but note that the entrance, which used to be an Ouroboros insignia, is now a shard of the Pillar of Ice and Flame.

EDIT: And if that is Statesman staring into what used to be the pool of water, then here's another interesting yet minor detail: Emperor Cole is, then, the only known Statesman-counterpart not present in that picture.

Actually, now looking at it, the figure next to possibly Statesman IS Emperor Cole, the figure appears to once again be using the Invulnerability aura that Imperious, Reichsman and possibly Statesman are using AND it looks like the figure is dressed in white.

The sunken Ouroboros citadel shows me a few things:

1. Letter-writing-guy was right. Either I'll be by his side, or I'll be on the citadel as it plunges into the sea. And it has!

2. "The coming storm" was supposed to be an invasion, and we're getting invaded by forces from Praetorian Earth. Coincidence? I guess them originally appearing with the Rikti invasion was either a sign that Silos didn't know what he was doing, or a writer's ploy to trick us. Or changing priorities for the development team. Who knows?

3. The Ouroboros citadel appears to be on Praetorian Earth. It's enveloped by plant-like tentacles, it has trees growing out of it and there's that Giant Monster type Sardonyx on it. Could it have been there all along? Just somewhere out in the ocean on a world that's mostly cooped up in its own cities?

*edit*
That's a repost of something else I posted elsewhere. That Cole is the letter-writer would be a cool twist. Might not fit his style, though. We'll see.
