Funniest loading screen tip i've ever seen
I have a dedicated AE character who never steps outside other than for trading and levelling. Unfortunately, level 50 looks like being a long way off due to the hefty xp penalties applied to some missions, regardless of how good they are.

How is that funny?
"i can go from level 1-50 in Paragon City" does not imply farming, so why should this?
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Anyways, the loading-tip line was one of those marketing lines that was said more as a spread-sheet point than as something that was thought all the way through.
Given that there are no limitations to the amount of exp you can earn in Architecture Entertainment, it is technically possible to level from level one to level fifty doing AE missions alone. Just because it is technically possible does not mean is it technically feasible.
AE was never intended to be a replacement for developer created content, and anybody who at least bothered to look at either the CoH loader or the CoH web-page in the runup to Issue 13 knew that AE was designed as a way for players to tell their own stories in the game, not as a way in which to gain levels. Only players who did not read anything about AE during the I13 beta, the I13 release, the I14 beta, the I14 release, the I15 beta, the I15 release, and so on and so forth, thought that AE was "forz Expz"
I think what is funny to me is that the tag-line that a player can level to 50 in the AE system is still in the player hints. I suspect marketing ordered it be put in as a trade-off for something else.
Only the leader of a team (marked with a star) can set the active mission for a team.
First time I saw that tip was in Croata, several of us were doing Gordons arc but the team leader was always the last to load exitting the previous mission. I had just called Gordon got the next mission and entered. Which sets the active mission.

I fail to see the funny. It's so unfunny in fact, that I'm copying him. Level 33 so far. I don't see how 33-50 will be any more difficult, especially since the ally reward nerf is gone.

There's a new one with GR. "While COH.!FIX, DEV.TSK=FIX(COH)" or something like that.
Also "If it wasn't already a Nemesis Plot, the Mission Architect allows you to make it one." Because farming is a Nemesis Plot.

Funniest loading screen tips I've never seen...
* Everything is a Developer's plot.
* For a good time call 1-800-War-Wich.
* Did you know violating copyright laws by making a tribute character can get you a free costume/name change?
* Emperor Cole is leader of the Praetorian dimension. He maintains his rule by shipping all super-powered beings off-world when they reach level 20.
* Want to create a tank-mage? Create a Tank and team with a Blaster.
* Mentioning WoW in chat is against ToS.
* Do not stare directly at Blue Steel. You have been warned.
* Architect Entertainment: You can't do that.... yet. Unless you want to upload pron into your mission... if that's the case you'll be waiting a LONG time for that Yet to come around.
* Welcome to Paragon City where it is perfectly acceptable to use assault rifles, fire, pistols, bladed weapons and brute force to punish such crimes as loitering and jay walking.
* No, Ultra Mode graphics does NOT include "jiggle" physics. Stop asking.
* In Mayhem Missions practically everything you can see is targetable. Take THAT you tab-targeting ba***rds!
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

Hey guys, remember when there were bans and character deletions, and those were going to teach people a lesson and stop the MA farming? Then remember when they added more restrictions to NPC groups in I16 and those were going to stop the MA farming?
Yeah, me neither, lol.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."

The devs intended AE to be viable for XP, just not viable for crazy abusive XP. It awards slightly less XP than the developer created stuff because you can pick your opponents to specifically match your strengths. You may be fortunate and find some standard villain group and mission is perfect for you, but normally a custom badguy on a custom map with ambushes will be better, and tighter packed on the map so you can kill them at least slightly faster.
It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba
As far as I remember lol those were specifically for farming lol This lol however lol does not change the fact that lol even back in the day lol you could still level 1 to 50 off nothing but the architect lol Just in the same way as you can level off street sweeping lol if you were so inclined lol

KNEEL BEFORE LOL!
i understand well the need to be a self-amusing personality, but to find that funny, even in a quasi-satirical way... That just smacks of desperation to find something, anything, amusing.
The babbling about farming doesn't make any sense either. Sure, you can farm your way to 50 both inside and outside AE, but it fails as sarcasm since the only reason to do that is because you want to farm. (Or not.)
Still, i guess it's good you were amused, no matter how inane i personally find the source.
