I do have 1, no make that 2, requests for our base designer:
1 - No more than 3 "floors" per room. 2 is better imo, but sometimes people can make 3 work. Having "Huge" or "tall" characters is extremely annoying in a base where every "ceiling" is 6 feet high.
2 - Decorate all you like! But please allow people to "flow" through the base. I've been in some bases where the sheer magnitude of stuff in them is awe inspiring. They do an awesome job! But it takes me 5 minutes to figure out how to get out of the room I'm in. Too much stuff (or too much stuff in the way) = not fun. Good pathing is good, m'kay?
I will echo the previous "requirements" of the base when it was initially purchased:
A) A workshop with crafting table(s) with nearby easy access to personal vault. 2 - 3 salvage bins and enhancement storage for "temp storing" things while crafting. Low level toons can really make use of this when cranking out 20-30 IOs for sale on the market.
B) A functional med bay.
c) Porters to every zone (we're missing 2 beacons now I think? One is RWZ and all we need for that is the one on the ship. I can't remember what the other one is for the life of me)
All of the above should be right off the entrance for convenience.
If our new fancy designer needs anything crafted and dropped for the base, they can let me know. If they prefer to do the crafting, we can work something out as well.
Also, if any badges are needed (I'm sure there are many useful ones) just let us know which ones are needed and we'll figure out how to get 'em.

I had a toon named Wall Street Brawler on Virtue since last Spring. I remade him as Praetorian kin melee brute when GR came out, which was the plan, but since I haven't played very many of my Praetorian characters he was stuck at level 2, and I'd also heard that kin melee wasn't a great brute set. So I remade him a second time as a scrapper.
Joined the 88s, turned on SG mode, PL'd him to 20, handed him 1.4 billion and spent 1 billion of it at the registrar. That was what I did today. ^_^
I also spent a lot of time last night figuring out how much money I have on all of my toons combined... maybe 6 billion or so. So I'm down a billion now but I'm working on making more.
But I also have a few thousand unspent merits and hundreds of crafted IOs in my solo SG base, so when I say "I have 6 billion" that's just liquid cash.

Inf burnt late tonight, and we're up to #35 now!
For those of us who are poor and lurkers, can you throw a breakdown of how much inf has been burned and if you'd be #1 on other servers by now?
Also, how about you become #1 on all servers next?

I initially wanted to plan out the entire base, then start building according to that plan; but, as happens so often, the best laid plan is only good until the first shot is fired (or in my case, the first desk is stacked).
This Base isn't one of my RP Bases, which need to adhere to certain guidelines in overall design, instead, each room can -and will- in its own unique way, be dedicated to one thing: Inf (and/or the destruction thereof, as in the Inf Incinerator Pit i'm currently building in one of the workshops).
Nethergoat has volunteered to post screenies of my progress as I...
well... progress
So, all that said, thanks for letting me do this, and I hope y'all will like it, when it's done.

32? Okay how far to the top 10? And we're going to have to track how fast the number one slot is earning...vs how fast we're earning etc...or do we even care?
(had a 400 million error in my favor over the weekend...that went straight into the firepit...so thank you to the guy with the really expensive Impervium Armor IO, that error bought our individually monogrammed toilet paper)

I wrote down the numbers for the SG below and the two SG's above us. So I can see if they're a significantly moving target. Advance warning was given to someone from #26 and #17 (Dragons/Rogues of Ruin).
#10, Paragonian Knights, is currently at about 151.6 million prestige [that's 76B] and we're at 67.7 million prestige.
I figure it's going to be a little while before I can toss in another billion here- my finances are coming back from my prior imprudent spending, but slowly.

The best way I think (because for the most part not many actually play these toons) is to join TheMarket global channel and just ask for someone to invite you. Ill be on tonight starting approximately 9PM ET

"Advance Warning??!!??" Who would do such a thing...? Thats almost ebil.
Hopefully that means they start churning their own inf onto the pile, only making us stronger in the process.
I actually figured when this whole thing started we wouldnt quite be able to do it....but with enough people actively marketeering it is quite possible it seems. We've burnt 38 Billion give or take....good gawd
The turned their passion and a couple hundred million inf into an evenings entertainment for ~60 players, counting contestants and bystanders. I had several nice interactions with fellow contestants, read quite a few excellent character bios and reported one j-hole for harassment when he ignored our polite requests to stop pushing contestants off the platform.
