I was late logging in, but thankfully they took my 15 billion and set it a blaze

We are officially the #1 SG on Virtue now!

Last I saw we were at 504 million Prestige (that's 252 billion inf.) At one point I realized that we started this SG on 9/23/10. So we did this in just under 3 months.

And we did something over 114 billion inf in the last 24 hours. . .

you guys amazed me, over and over.

Nice work all. Good fun tonight.

... I AM on a sugar high, but that's only peripherally relevant. Christmas = cookies and lots of em.

Some of the most fun I've had in the game in quite awhile gang, thanks for the good times, it was great being part of the bonfire tonight!

I was in the middle of a raid so I was only half-paying attention, but I noticed y'all on TheMarket channel scurrying around looking for spare inf and figured something was up. Grats on making #1!

so, my wife calls me right when I get off and says an old friend's in town and they're having a party. A lovely evening to be sure, we made very merry indeed.

I get home late enough that I've expected to miss all the fun, log in to find nobody around and head to City Hall to burn my pile.

Dump my seven-ish billion then pull up the leaderboard to see if we managed to overtake #4 or not.

Do a double take.

WOW!!! That's pretty much all I got...

Superlatives simply don't cut it...

Back on post #492 when we were discussing the Solstice Party, I thought
that the #6 position was a "realistically attainable" goal. I had NO IDEA
what you people were actually going to accomplish.

I'm completely flabbergasted - To paraphrase the legendary Queen of the Blues,
Koko Taylor, that was one hell of a Wang Dang Doodle we pitched tonight.

Less than three months ago, the Crazy 88's did not exist.
Tonight, they're the #1 SG on one of the most populous game servers.

Un-fricking-believable!

In total, it took 263.8 Billion Influence to achieve.
More than 128 Billion of that total was burned in the past 24 hours.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around tonight's accomplishment.

88'rs, it's an honor to be a part of the group. Not only is the firepit

So do we get bit by the manifest destiny bug and start doing this to every server?

By the way #1 is freakin awesome damn I was figuring maybe #4 at best but NUMBER ******* 1 wow....

We have a number of tasks in front of us. I can think of three for now.

Firstly, I'm interested in the sig banner that was mentioned last night. After all, a #1 SG needs to show some modest pride.

Secondly, we need to calculate the #1 SGs across all the other servers to see where we currently rank, and our distance to all-time #1.

Finally, I think our current standing would merit a reexamination of the theorized prestige cap. I have an exploratory PM or two into some red names. Could be interesting.

You guys and gals have really achieved something here.

To go from zero to #1 spot in that short amount of time, by burning inf is really amazing.

I wonder if the Ocho reads this, if he could chime in with a comment about the global inf in game. I know the Devs have posted this figure in the past. Has this done anything noticeable the influence in game, a little dip, even just a slowing of the gain ?
