Saw a character running around awhile back named Helena Handbasket.
There's a character on Pinnacle that's a Mastermind with the comb-over hairstyle named Hell Toupe.
Another (Fire/Kin corruptor) named Speedo Demon, he's a demon wearing nothing but black briefs.
One of mine: A fire/fire blaster who's powers first manifested in a post office, his name is Return to Cinder.

Stone/Stone tank, brown and white Fire Stripe tights. Had the Wrapped gloves and boots because it looked like toilet paper. His bio was "It all started in the bathroom....."

I always liked Dora the Destroyer. Pretty much what you'd expect: Dora the Explorer with a big freaking axe and a penchant for destruction.

The original Skydance, the character, was a Martial Arts Scrapper, but the concept combined with the mechanics/powers didn't work out for me in the end. I still have the name reserved on Virtue, in case I want recreate her again, but for now, she isn't part of this universe (in another universe though, Skydance is busy defending a city from Dr. Destroyer and various other threats).
Sunwind is my main here, other then my VEAT the only character I (rarely) play these days.

I think the funniest character name I've ever seen was Whitey-Tighty on Virtue. I haven't seen him for years, but spotting him used to be be a thing for my friends and I. He was a black toon, big afro, and only wearing a pair of white briefs and a plain green cape which was, according to his bio, a safety-pinned bathtowel.
My own favorite name moment was The Slightly-Used Moth, who was actually named after an actual moth one of my cats found... and then err, discarded. Whole.
Ran into an Elec something character grayside that was a cute pigtailed Molly Hayes looking little girl called something like "Shock and D'awww".
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

Yes Master, a controller (I think) dressed in the diaphanous dancing silks... a very accurate take on the Barbara Eden character in I Dream of Jeanie. I was laughing too hard at seeing this one to check a bio or build before she jumped on the train. Am I dating myself by recognizing the source?
A while back there was a Blaster on Guardian named Debt Magnet... haven't seen him in awhile.
My buddy Local Man has a whole raft of rather unique character names... Sultan Battery, Beau N Arrow, the aforementioned Shield Happens and dozens more.
I ran across a Fire/Fire tanker on Guardian back in issue 4 with gray hair, dressed in a suit with round glasses and a cigar. The name? George Burns. I thought it was really clever and the look was perfect.
