Recipes since the market merge
I list recipes/enhancements for 2/3 what I would pay for them if there are none for sale and no one bidding.
If none for sale and many bidding I list them for what I would pay for them.
If many for sale and no one bidding I vendor the recipe.
Salvage I just throw in after I hit the SG buff station.

LoTGs were always in the 200 M+ range, didn't matter the level. So that's a good thing.

I was just trying to put another data point out there for folks who might not follow the trends.

In other news, I've already bought quite a few items from myself.
The only [teeny-weeny] downside to the merger that I can see.

Being able to buy items from yourself is probably a feature, albeit a funny one.
I've mostly been playing my 50s, but I have been posting every mid-range recipe I get. Most of them have been crap so they haven't sold yet. I am however going to respec out my level 35 Positron's Blasts and list them once I get my Ragnaroks. There's no history and none for sale, so I can't justify overwriting a decent mid-level set like that.

I got 3 Numina's uniques for about 50 mill each and a LotG recharge for about 15 million. So for me the market merge has been very useful. These aren't getting flipped, but slotted on my many hungry alts.
Low end common salvage could be had for next to nothing on Sunday. Luck charms for 5K and many things I have seen spiking to 100K I bought for under 500. (Yes, I realize that this is because so many people are playing lowbies) This made it possible for my pretorian to craft recovery serum right away and create IO's at lvl 15.
I haven't memorized what the prices used to be but I have been putting a few things up. Not fear of loss really but just spening my time in game trying to geta robots/FF to 20 so I can take it to Paragon City. I will list some more this week.
I've been doing fairly minimal marketing (too many other alts that are "busy"
playing right now) recently.
That said, I've been listing stuff I didn't want for the minimum I'd take (typically
vendor price + ~30% ).
That's been working well, and in the majority of cases I've been getting much
more than that.
For the more premium items I've listed, I have some ideas what they were
worth, and I typically list for ~2/3rds of that value just like I did pre-merger.

Well, level 40 Miracle unique recipes are back up over 100 (last 5 anywhere from 100 to 140 at the moment), but it seems as though purple prices have crashed. One of my Soulbound Allegiance pieces here would barely scrape up 20 mil, and the Hecatomb proc is closer to 150 million.
On the other hand I've been doing alignment merit rolls (basically, running my usual TFs and SFs and then converting a merit before I head to bed each day) and while I had a couple really crappy sets of rolls, I've been in the 40-45 range and it's been turning out swimmingly. Selling the pieces I don't use (Impervium Armors, LotGs, etc.) usually means I gain back the 20 mil I spend, and I can make up those 50 merits in about two TF's worth of time, so I've been doing pretty well. Noticed the Impervium Armor resistance IO (not the unique) sitting at around 80 mil crafted, so I've paid for my next 4 merit conversions just by selling the one I got.

LotG +rech recipies (lvl 50) seem to be going pretty cheap still. While the history was settled at about 140m last night, I was still getting some for 110-120m. Crafted enhancements were selling for 190-210m.
Amusing, at one point last Friday, apart from the +rech, all the lvl 50 LotG recipies were selling for more that the crafted enhacement
I have continued to buy and sell the same items on my 2 primary marketeers, and listed the first rounds of sales for 25-100% more than I sold them for pre-merger. So far, everything has sold in under 48 hours, so clearly my mark-up isn't enough. I figure that so much is still sitting off-market due to many people playing Praet content. I'm there to help the shoppers still wanting such things, and I only ask the tiniest of excessive convenience fees.
My thinking on this really is that the new HAM/VAM system is going to kill a lot of the pool C luxury market, and I want to unload as much as I can before the crash. If I'm wrong, I'll have a highly liquid pool to get back in the game, and if I'm right I'm trying to get mine before too many other people realize this and muscle in on my wins.

however, apocalypse's are still very expensive, especially the triple (~300 mill). there also is barely any quantity on the market. still trying to decide to make the money i need to buy the 3 needed to finish my main or wait and get the hero merits to buy them directly.

Before the expansion went live, I stockpiled a number of low level anti-knockback IOs from tickets, merits, and fishing bids. After making sure I had enough for my characters that needed them, I sold the rest and made a couple hundred million.

For the soloist, this new setup seems much easier. 11 missions for 1 hero merit, which is equivalent to 100 "old" merits as far as purchasing power goes. Compare to 16 missions (nevermind the talks) for 43 merits doing Unai's arc. I'd have to run that five times in order to buy a level 25 LoTG +7.5 outright; now I only have to run two morality arcs (or one morality arc, an Unai and a handful of extra merits). Makes buying the big-ticket items - which I'd want at a certain level anyway - a lot more palatable.
That's not to say I don't mix in some random rolls too, I do. If I have 50 merits, there's little reason not to pay 20M to convert and double my rolls. I still like the random lottery dynamic there. It's just that I can generate stuff that more quickly.
If anything, it's slowing down the leveling on my new characters as I feel like I "need" to get my 5 tips per night in on a 50...

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
On thing that might help is breaking the cycle of using a 50. Get them on any character who can kill level 21 enemies. I farm these missions on a 50, and use them to level my lower alts. As long as I earn a merit every day or two I'm content, regardless of which character it is on.

Yeah, I think once I get to that point (which means getting out of Praetoria of course) I'll be fine. It's funny, because usually I don't play my 50s much once they get to 50. In this case I did, waiting for GR to roll anyone new. Now, I find it easy to take the approach of "well, I have this new build that calls for four LoTG - I can EASILY get those by playing my 50!" Of course, I actually have to play the new toon to get high enough to actually slot the goodies...

Started 3-boxing tip missions for efficiency sake. Using various capped toons for the 5 random rolls option should help the mid-level crisis efforts.

Excellent! I'm about 25 recipes into my fiendish plan.
... I don't know if "sell 100 recipes" is really a fiendish plan, but we'll see how it goes.
