The predownload has been available for a week.
Damn devs! Always trying to make the launch of a new product go as smoothly as possible.

That being said, there will always be people that get a bad spin of the dice when there's something even resembling downtime, whether server maintenance or having to download an update. Sometimes it's been me. In this instance, it was you. While the developers couldn't have a solution that was good for everyone, I'm sorry that you had to be the one to roll 1's. I know how annoying that can be.

How is 62MB (the patch released today) much larger than 657MB (the predownload)?

dunno, mine is fixing files, about 840 mb of them. and it aint fast either.

what I dont like, and this is happening on all my systems, is before it starts patching, it pops up with an error saying that their might not be enough room on the drive to complete the task.
This needs to be fixed, does it under xp Sp2 Sp3 Xp Media Center and Win7 x64 ultimate. Yes I run as administrator.
You click an option and it goes away, but still, its kinda scary its been going on for as long as it has.

Also, after today I stop making mistakes.
I was actually going to play the game today, but now I can't because it's downloading the patch because they released it early. Yay.
And yes I'm aware I would have had to download it tomorrow anyway, but I could have started it BEFORE I was about to log on to play.
