pulling everything, or trusting the system?
I have billions of "stuff" on the markets. I'm just leaving it alone. Too much to track and worry about. If I lose some, I'm still stupid rich. If I lose it all, I'll just get more. If everything works without problems I'll just keep getting richer. Not even considering changing anything I currently do. I'll adjust when the market changes.

I've leaving everything as it is. I CBA to faff around taking everything down and then putting it all back again afterwards. I will be making sure anything is claimed from e-mail, though.

This was my same move when I lapsed the account, and I never noticed or missed what was gone.
Who knows, maybe that purple will transform into a level 29 Damage IO, or something else impossible.
I do suggest you look at your wealth storage systems--don't keep bids on "impossible to buy in this faction" items. Then, again, maybe I can exploit this...never mind.

Knowing for some time that this merger was coming, I have been steadily reducing the number of items I have up for sale. I think I'm down to 4 high value items right now.
I will have everything off the market and out of emails by next Tuesday.

Pulling everything off the market and out of email. I don't trust database migrations.
Be well, people of CoH.
I just "lost" about 15 mill of salvage I put on the BM tonight. I dropped support a ticket so I'm waiting to see how this is resolved.
I'm pulling down bids here and there, stuff I don't expect to fill or sell anytime soon, but I'm going to leave most of what I have up. As RagManX said, I can afford to lose stuff if that actually happens. Won't hurt me much.
my lil RWZ Challenge vid
Since I've not marketeered with any regularity for months, I'll be using this as an excuse to check the market with all my characters and see what kind of stuff I've got gathering dust (or what piles of cash I've got to collect )
I may throw up a bunch of stacks of salvage or generic IOs just to see whether something explodes, heh.

I pulled 90% of my stuff left anything worth less than 5m because I had too much of that.
Things I found as I went through character by character:
2 Miracle procs
1 Gaussian Rech/end
3 Numinas
8 LoTG 7.5s
2 Regen tissue procs which are now worth less than I paid.
more purples than I knew I had.
I've been in-effect liquidating for the past two weeks (well, okay...I've snapped up some bargains too). I needed a clean slate on my accounts going into the merger-wipe. Call it a RL RAM shortage, if you will.
Repeat Offenders
I have ~20 purples listed currently so it is a bit of change in listing fees, but what ever doesn't move I think I am going to pull just to be safe.

Thus, the market merge won't touch your original character -- you won't get market refunds until you open the market window and get each separate item.
I still anticipate there'll be a few glitches -- there always are when you process millions of transactions. So if you've got some especially valuable items you might want to record exactly what those are so that you can check that everything came out right and you can make an accurate request to support to get your items back.
This means that the bidding history won't truly be wiped: people will be able to figure out what items were previously listed at and what their previous bids were. If we so choose, we'll be able to easily relist and rebid exactly what we had before.
This is all assuming that the real merge will happen the same way it did on beta.
Storing stuff in email I'm less sanguine about. It's not intended to be storage system: they're email attachments. I had a weird glitch with one of three attachments I intentionally left to test the merge, and it was messed up: I can't get the attached influence and therefore I can't delete the email; it's in permanent limbo which means that email "slot" is permanently locked up.
Pulling. While I doubt anything bad happening, I don't see a compelling reason to set myself up to be irritated if something does.
Leaving it all up, because I have enough money and crap that I don't care if everything I have on the market up and disappears.
I actually just finished selling everything I had stored in bases for last few months. I'm just gonna wait a few weeks to see how everything plays out before I make a move.

Also it is just play money. I might take a few screenshots or something in case I lose some valuable items because I've often waited a while to get those with low bids, so it would annoy me to restart the waiting process. Other than that I have no worries about losing stuff.

Just a heads up to folks, my beta character lost several billion it had stored in bids on nonexistent items (level 53 recipes) when the merger happened. So better safe than sorry...

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
I have too much stored in the markets and not enough places to put it.
What I will do is take screenshots of everything just in case.
I prolly best take out what I got stored/listed unless it's cheap. Stuff like Respec Recipes are being pulled tonight whilst I remember cos tomorrow is another day full of expected complacency and memory loss.

I'm leaving all my junk listed just to see what happens.
It's not like I need the inf anyway, and I'm curious about how smoothly they can make this work.

You know....Ive been storing every drop and avoiding my usual craft and flip strategies so I dont have anything to list....
But screw that...Im going to continue blissfully on while the iceberg creeps up....maybe we'll miss the iceberg, maybe we wont, but Im going to show my faith in the devs....5 billion into emails for quick access....and Im going back to flipping and dupin rares....
They cant get it wrong twice in a row right?
Didn't see a thread on this.
Are you guys forfeiting your listing fees and pulling everything next week, or trusting that nothing gets lost in the merge?
