NAME: The American Legion

RECRUITING: We are always accepting of players that are interested in joining our ranks.

RP LEVEL: Non-RP / RP friendly

PvP LEVEL: Casual, but mainly PvE centric

THEME/CONCEPT: Though our leadership and heritage is patriot themed; we believe America is a melting pot and we accept all themes and styles of heroes into the Legion.

ACTIVITY: We have over several dozen highly active members in 3 countries and 5 time zones. There are always enough members on when the server is up to fill your team. Peak times (Eastern Zone) are Weekdays 4PM-2AM and Weekends 11AM-3AM. Many of our members are couples, families, and RL friends.

MEMBERSHIP: We accept all that want to join. You are only asked to remain active while in the SG and to play well with your fellow SG mates, coalition and players in the game. Disruptive players will not be tolerated.

DETAILS: The Legion is one of the most easily recognized Super Groups on Virtue. Our core membership has played together for over two years but we are very welcoming to new members. We host events, team for AE arcs, story arcs, TFs, GM hunts, and anything else that sounds like a good time. We have a great, active coalition and we participate with them in many activities. The Legion believes in being a good partner in the community of heroes and we always have an interest in giving back to the player base. Players wishing to join the Legion may be new, returning, or veterans of Paragon. This was my same move when I lapsed the account, and I never noticed or missed what was gone.

Who knows, maybe that purple will transform into a level 29 Damage IO, or something else impossible.

I do suggest you look at your wealth storage systems--don't keep bids on "impossible to buy in this faction" items. Then, again, maybe I can exploit this...never mind.

I still love reading these "I-Am-New-at-the-Market" success stories!

It really is great. So much so, that I have returned to CoH--and The Market.

You have let some of the market change in the 15 months I was away--mostly for the better.

One thing hasn't changed; I see that you Ebils are still the most helpful lot in the game.

Wow. That's 5 BILLION! Plus the one-million entry prize that all patriotic costume participants received. Plus the half billion Stars and Stripes gave out to the AE mission #412342 winners--I really enjoyed that WWII mission, and will play it again. Plus the dozens of trivia winners....

Hi, I just came back after 14 months. I would first make sure that your current system can still run CoH. I would do a 14-day free account to test the waters. Actually, that is what I did.

I found that my main computer (crappy ATI video card) won't handle Issue 17. I found many, some, a few, of my old friends still in game. I found that I still get many invites to team on Freedom, even on the limited trial account. I didn't get any teams on Virtue, but then the trial account limits the ability to "chat", a requirement on Virtue. Although, I did see some old Virtue friends when I searched.

Over all, there were many changes, and some new content since you were on. It will be a new 'familiar' game for you. And the majority of players and all servers are very friendly

I'd say come on back--if it doesn't work, you can always lapse the account again.
