Purp drop report! vs. temp powers

Since i17 i've received numerous temp power drops and zero purps or worthwhile (entropics, posi's, etc) recipes. I just resolved that it was my own bad luck through normal play (mishes, entire arcs, radio, tfs, etc), but recently have heard much of the same through coalition & sg chums...so I'm just throwing it out there to see how you guys and gals on freedom have faired with your drops since i17's release...any luck?

The implication of "something wrong with the game" may inherently be there, but really i'm just interested in discussion. I'm glad to hear someone is getting some purps..

barring the purp drop discussion...is it odd to have like 2 to 4 temp powers drop on me for almost every session for the past 2 weeks?

I've been seeing a large increase in the number of Temp Power drops as well. In fact, I have gotten multiples of temp powers I had never even seen before. Definitely seems like they increased the drop rate on Temp Powers. As for any decrease to Purple Drops, I can't say I have noticed any significant drop there, but I don't get a lot anyway.

I expect they have increased the rate of temp power drops so that the market could get stocked up. There's some pretty cool ones in there.

I decided to get my Paragon Protector badge over the last couple nights so I was running x8 crey missions. So in just under 3k mobs I had 2 stuns, 1 confuse, and a ragnarok. And more temp drops than I could delete lol. So purples are dropping. It would be nice if they were all apoc's, but what can you do?

During the 6th anniversary weekend I got almost dozen purple drops when the market was down. Since the latest patch its seems I am getting nothing but the temp powers and only a Ragnarok drop for me so far.

Sadly, I was playing lowbie during 6th anniversary weekend. I decided to try my luck at running at lv 50, diff+2 and managed 4 purple drops, which includes 1 armagd and 1 apoc. >:3
And lots of temp pwrs (~20) which I emailed to my lowbie toons. (Yay for email)

IMHO, it helps to log out at Ouro to boost the chances of a drop.

This week I have recieved 4 purple, and 43 Temp power drops...all thrown into WW's for 11 INF post each. Still have 18 Temps that I will delete soon.

The 2 Backup Radios sold fast. Now I wish that I kept one to try out.

So much game left to do, and so little consciousness remaining....

What are the best type of missions to get purple drops on? I play my 50 all the time but haven't had one drop in ages.

I've gotten 4 purple drops since this weekend, but I'd NEVER gotten ANY before that.

Temp power drops ARE way up, but I don't think they got anything to do with superrares

Gotten some purps since i17 on my EU account, cant really say over here on the NA servers yet though since havent got a character that high yet.
