I have 2 50's and have been playing the game for almost 5 years. I do have altitis, created and deleted more than what I have now. I like the content. Not a rush for me to get to 50. Last 50 was in a static group, and was awesome. Now working another hero/rogue to 50 with the same group. Love it. It's all about the journey.

I know how you feel; I only average about one 50 a year myself (and the first of those didn't come until about three or four years into my "career"). Good job!

I've played this game for (I think) 5 years.

I have two 50s and only one has Incarnate abilities slotted. And only one of them is a Tier 4 ability.

Altitis is a hell of a thing.

Wow that took forever but grats regardless.

It took me 9 months to get my first 50(stone/stone brute) then after that it just got quicker and quicker. I used to have serious altitis but I found that if I make myself focus on one it takes less than a month to get it to 50 then I have time to IO/incarnate it out in between my other alts.

Still only two 50's here.

Inspite of my forum date Ive been around since year one. So i know the old days and how hard it could be for more casual, oft times handicapped with sub optimal power comboed players to get thier first 50s. My own was a katana/SR scrapper named T'Keron Valmaz on my older vet account. It took A LONG time to reach 50 at least a year plus, maybe more.

I wouldnt even have another 50 for a long time as Id take up the delete if it didnt suit me by 38-41 attitude for a good long time afterwards.

Even now I only have a handful of 50s across the AT spectrums. Mostly scrappers, my main blaster, a PB, brute, etc.

Sure now days if you just want to lvl its pretty easy, but imo those like yourself who take the slow and serious route will have alot better grasp of how to use your character.

so...the 10 hours average it takes me when I try.....makes me the mutant idiot of the game..sigh..

Oh...retirement only happens for those not on the first 4 pages of my character select screen on my main server. I have a use and a purpose for them all. Lately though, I seem stuck on the 13 or 14 level shifted ones, while trying to work up others.

Doesn't help that new sets come out and I have to try them out, with various combinations.

and I am not really trying to brag. We all find enjoyment in what we do. Or we wouldn't be doing it. I just happen to like when my friends say I am like a crab fisherman..or Hal...both make me laugh..

I got a character to 50 last night! This is significant because:

• It's my first post-Freedom 50, and before Freedom I was gone for the better part of two years.
• It's my first level 50 brute.
• It's the first time I've ever created a character and reached 50 on that character during the same issue (you can tell because her primary is Street Justice). That makes the roughly two months it took me, my fastest trip to 50 ever.
