  1. Keep it up people!

Greatest community in online gaming right here.
  2. To the naysayers:

Remember the story of the mmo APB. That game died extremely early after launch. Some months later another company bought it, changed the business model up a little and it's been doing well since.

The company who bought ABP took a risk.

*IF* a company were to buy CoH it would be a lot less risky. CoH wasn't dying. It has an extremely loyal and dedicated fanbase who will be here for a long, long looooong time to come if given the opportunity. Taking a chance on CoH would be more of a sure thing than a gamble.

There's hope as long as we keep hope alive. Send the e-mail to Valve. Send it to EA. Send it to anyone! Don't give up before we've even gotten started. Sure it may seem like a long shot if a small handful of people send e-mails to Gabe Newell. But if hundreds do? Thousands?

Anything is possible if you try. So let's try.
  3. Happy Birthday Johnny! You're a wonderful person and a great friend

^this. I knew you guys were gonna announce an event soon but I didn't think it would be THIS soon. And with only 10 days between announcing it and it actually happening... well, let's just say I'll do my best to make it!

Just wear a trench coat and hat with big sunglasses. We won't know. Our characters can't actually see the giant name floating over your head.

    For the record?

It wasn't the "unimportant" part that bugged me so much as there was no communication one way or the other. Xanatos lead me to believe the Shogun's action would've forced a complete rewrite. If that was the case, merely PMing me in game or on the forum on an in-game email saying "Sorry, but while we appreciate your participation, we couldn't use what you did without a significant rewrite." would've changed everything and completely deflated the disagreement.

Unfortunately, as I was never told and no attempt was made to contact me about it, I could only draw a conclusion based on what I had. I am thankful for the clarification though, Johnny.
Yeah, Asunder approached Red-Havok with the information she had. Red took the info, and decided not to ask the source, so as to not sabotage whatever relationship Asunder had with them. The less he knows, the better - sort of thing. (I didn't actually know it was you, but rather assumed - after the last time).

The information was discussed in the briefing, as JT said. All that was mentioned was "our sources" or "our findings". Red was never specific with how the info was obtained. That really wasn't what was important at the moment.

If it's something you would like included in the summary for historical reasons, then I'm sure we can add a line or two.

How did you get so many folks together on one mission map? 'Cause that's def the Manticore mansion.
Whatcha talkin' about man?? That's The Cromwell Estate! :P

But ya, what Ran said. We've been using that as our base since i21. I knew it would be a bit of a pain to get everyone in there, but I really wanted to see a ton of heroes inside. Looking at the end result, it was worth it. I was marking out while doing the briefing.

  17. Redside brought the thunder. Was really impressed by the Villain support. It's about time Redside resurrected itself a bit. Got to thank the United Underworld a lot for that (imo). You guys keep being awesome.
  18. I just want to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event, hero and villain. We hoped it would be successful, but never once considered that we would actually fill the zone and create Sirens Call 2! I know the hero team was over 50 strong and the villain side was comparable in size.

Thank you so much, everyone who attended. This only makes us want to plan another event much sooner.
