I subscribed for a month and am playing CO. It's not CoH, but I'm not comparing it, two different games, two different types of styles. As a game, it will be my replacement, because it really isn't all that bad, it's just different. Have to keep an open mind about these things, that's the approach I am taking with the game.

Zwill is gone? Did he move to Cryptic, or did he give his notice and adios to NCSoft and Paragon Studios?

I read through it. Did I miss the part when it talked about the wells? What are the damn wells?

I was more shocked than upset. I figure we had a couple of years tops, get it to 10 and done. Didn't think they were looking at CoH2.

Having said that, let's say they are successful and save CoH. In order to ensure longevity, don't they have to start working on number 2? They were maximizing what they could get, but it was getting long in the tooth. So it was a problem that plagued the game, and it will be a continuing problem if it's saved. If that's the case, then isn't it just prolonging the inevitable again?

Rome total war mods for me. Love that game.

Maybe a new PC and give DCU and Champions Online a try. Maybe no MMO's or awhile or ever, hard to say.

Logged in on that first Friday, and the next day on the Saturday as well. Haven't been back since and not sure I will be. Thing I loved was that the game was open ended. Well, now it's not. No point in playing. Have maybe 4 heroes left that I didn't delete.

For all those that have passed through the doors, or who joined us for however long, and for those that were there to the end, it was awesome rolling our little group weekly for the last almost 2 years. It was a lot of fun, but now that fun comes to an end.

Not sure what I am going to do. I deleted a bunch of heroes already, no cash, no nothing from them, just delete.

I ran the Dark Astoria arc with Max last night, well, part of it at least, but it felt hollow because even though there is no "end goal" for the game, the great thing about it was that it was open ended. Now even that has been taken away. Not sure if I will be on again. I may end up removing the game from my PC before November. Haven't decided yet. But if I don't get back on and see you guys, all the best!

Optic Blasts, that's what I'd like to see.
Weapon Throwing (boomerangs, knives, cards, etc)
Revamp superstrength, lol, not sure that it needs it but maybe new animations for the remainder of it
Secondary sets for some that are missing it - Sonic Manipulation comes to mind and so on
Sand Blast, Sand Control, Sand Manipulation (blaster secondary)

I have recently run the SSA1 parts 1-6 and I'm loving it. Just need to do part 7 and done, then move on to SSA2. Plus if you finished your morality mission, you get hero merits for completing each and if you are incarnate, you can get incarnate bonuses. Win-win.

Maybe they need to look at comics more, because that's what I thought of as I read. Combat is not the end all be all, but it is there as part of the whole. I hope I interpreted what you said correctly.
