Theme/Concept: Hyperion Force is a group of heroes who have banded together in the tradition of the Freedom Phalanx and the Vindicators; the group has a number of continuing RP storylines in progress.

Activity: Currently about 15 players, active at various times during the US continental time zones (Eastern thru Pacific), during the evening hours. RP storyline nights are on Sunday at 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific, Thursday at 8:30PM Eastern, 5:30PM Pacific.

Requirements for Membership: No minimum/maximum level; application on the guild web site (we're not tough, though); please let us know if you are inactive for a period of longer than two weeks. Keep in mind the RP nature of the group!

Other Details: Base is fully developed with teleporters available to all locations in Paragon City (including a Pillar of Ice and Flame for Flashback missioning). *Theme/Concept: The Northern Watch is a project of the Canadian government that employs hundreds of superpowered citizens for a variety of roles (as dedicated field agents, or for training in other government jobs). The Supergroup registered under City Hall is an office of the International branch of the Watch, which functions as both a team of powered heroes and an embassy for Canadian heroes operating in Paragon City.

Theme/Concept : The Celestial Guardians have been brought together to battle forces greater than Paragon earth's heroes , namely Rularuu from the Shadow Shard and other assorted GM .

Activity : We have members from different time zones . Our heroes are either alien or obtained their abilities through other means . No specific costume style is required .

This is a static team currently consisting of 3-4 active members each Wednesday and would love to have 8 members on a regular basis to run the cool TF's this game offers . Current level is between 25-30 but if you have a toon in the teens , you are more than welcome to join us .

Currently Recruiting: Currently recruiting new, active members.

RP Level: Heavy RP. Both SG and Coalition channels are IC. We have an OOC global channel.

PvP Level: Casual PvP every so often. Typically done just for fun between some of the members.

Theme/Concept: Silver to Modern aged group of heroes dedicated to upholding and enforcing the law, subduing villains as opposed to killing them, and protecting mankind as a whole.

Activity: Anywhere from 15-23 different players. The Sentry's population is primarily EST, although we do have a variety of members from different time zones, ranging from different areas of the country to different countries altogether. Activity peaks anywhere from 8pm-11pm EST.

Requirements for Membership: Must fill out an application on our forums, followed by a brief interview. Character needs to be heroic in nature.

Other Details: The Palladium Sentry is dedicated to delivering innovative RP for it's members, whether in the form of AE arcs created specifically for RP, or in using the base to design sets for the next big arc. Recruiting? (quoted from VirtueVerse page) Because we are a place that people know about and come to because they have problems, need a place to stay, live a better life, or just want to be a better hero, people come to us. For that reason, you will never see us advertise our supergroup in-game.

RP-Level: RP-heavy

PvP? We leave PvP to parties involved if they'd like to play things out that way. We do not, of course, require it.

Theme/Concept: The Young Watchers is a halfway home for young people who just need a little help. Wanna be a good hero? Need help controlling your powers? Thrown out and need a place to stay? Want to belong to something bigger? This is the place for you. We tend to lean towards teenagers, but are open to young adults as well.

Activity: We have numerous people on mainly at night and we do a lot of RP. During weekends, it tends to be sporadic during the day but most are still on at night.

Requirements: We require that your character is between the ages of 15 and 25. We are open to bending around this rule, but nothing unreasonable. In-character wise, our group doesn't have the resources to tend to younger kids.

Name: The Invictus Foundation

Currently Recruiting: Yes we are recruiting. Also, we're always interested in other players/SGs to weave storylines with as well as general RP.

RP Level: Medium to heavy. We only want RPers and characters that are meant to be RPed, but we don't discourage OOC chatter.

PvP Level: Our stance on PvP is that we don't have a stance. We are not a PvP group, but we don't discourage PvP.

Theme/Concept: The Invictus Foundation is a hero organization with some side projects in Research & Development. We use our knowledge, skills and technology to aide in advancing and protecting Paragon City. Projects range from magical study & the arcane, to laboratory science, computer technology, machine technology, mutation study/enhancements, physical training studies, archeology and more.

Through our work in these areas, The Invictus Foundation has earned a reputation of trust with the various law enforcement agencies and communities. It's this reputation that calls us when there are people in need or trouble arises in our back yard.

More than anything, our characters are normal people, doing what they can to make the city a better place.

Activity: This varies ... we have players on the east coast, west coast and some in between. Prime time is generally from 7PM - 11PM eastern. But again, this varies by day of the week as well. We have a core group of about 7-10 players and a variety of alts.

Requirements for Membership: RPers only. We are a hero group, not a vigilante one (although your alignment being vigilante doesn't mean you're automatically not wanted). We're not squeaky clean golden age types, but those of us that are shades of gray tend to be towards the light end of the spectrum.

Currently Recruiting: We are currently looking to recruit several interested parties into the Global Defenders.

RP Level: We are a Heavy to Medium RP group, just ask that any OOC chatter bracketed in SG, local, team, or any other channel that is not our OOC global channel.

PvP Level: Very casual, it is very rare that we do any PvP but some of our members do partake in it

Theme/Concept: The Global Defenders' theme is classic superheroes, inspired by the JLA and other close-knit teams from comics culture, but with wide latitude for costumes, powers, and backgrounds.

Activity: We have about 15 - 20 unique members ranging in different time zones, but mostly our peak times are after 6pm eastern during the weekdays and roughly anytime during the weekends

Requirements for Membership: We accept any level, archetype, and background to join. All Defenders and future recruits should do their best to have the proper spelling and formation of their creations’ names and should have their creations name sound like it comes from the Silver Age of comics.

Other Details: We have a nicely equipped base with medical teleporters, teleporters to a large section of Paragon City. We have several nights for roleplay and supergroup teaming. We have started taskforce running for our members to enjoy the badge and experience fun. We ask that our members try to stay in supergroup mode as much as they can, this helps in the creation of new and exciting things for the base.

RP Level: Heavy/Required RP. Although we're small, we're very engaged in RP.
PvP Level: Extremely casual. We aren't known to do a lot of PVP, though this may change with numbers.

*Theme/Concept: Our theme is that we're a mafia-not just any mafia, but a ragtag group of ex-Marcones. Of course, you don't have to start out as a suit-wearing Sicilian to join our villain group. Generally, the Syndicate regard themselves as full-on supervillains and regard those in Paragon City who call themselves heroes and those who don't call themselves villains in the Isles as hypocrites.

Name: League of Misfits

Currently Recruiting: We're always looking for active new members!

RP Level: "[[Gather for plot point!]]" -- Gerard Le Mystere

Our primary focus is RP. There's usually several open storylines going on at any given time, and we have occasional RP nights where we further storylines playing through a story arc or TF adapted to our purposes.
SG chat is considered to be IC at all times, with any OOC comments marked as such (by "OOC:", brackets or what-have-you). Blending and meta-gaming is frowned upon, but we are not strict about the actual ratio of IC lines to OOC ones as we generally all like each other and have as much fun just playing and BS-ing OOC as we do roleplaying. We're by and large capable of doing both at the same time. During more RP-intensive events we generally ask that OOC be kept as much as possible in the group's global channel.

PvP Level: We make frequent use of the Arena for SG events, to further RP storylines, and for just plain goofing off. We do not currently engage in any organized zone PvP, but occasionally poke around. The Misfits occasionally host an in-character themed Arena event as a training exercise open to all who wish to come In Character and in costume -- past themes have included Pirates vs. Ninjas and Marvel vs. DC, Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat, and Star Wars vs. Star Trek.

Theme/Concept: The League of Misfits is a loosely affiliated association of oddballs and outcasts who have come together in the Misfit Mansion almost as a family, some out of choice and others who simply have nowhere else to go. Conceptually we're all over the map -- capes, wizards, warriors, mutants, magical constructs, extraterrestrials, extradimensionals, extratemporals, reformed villains, ghosts, super squirrels, sentient vegetables -- even the French! -- whatever you want to play, if you can make it interesting we're happy to have you with us.

Activity: We currently have over 20 individual players in the group, and there's almost always someone on -- we have daytime and nighttime regulars, and most of us have alts of both factions and various level ranges. We're very SK/exemp friendly, being more concerned with having fun hanging out with each other than steamrolling stuff or powergaming (though get enough of us together and steamrolling often becomes inevitable).

Requirements for Membership: We have no level requirement for entry, but we do require applicants to submit an application on the Misfit Membership board and team with two Master Misfits before being invited, to give us and you the opportunity to decide if our styles mesh.

RP Level: RP-lite, we ask that players ATTEMPT to stay in character, but don't penalize, or poke fun for breaking character.

PvP Level: Casual, although once our numbers rise this could change.

*Theme/Concept: SG is a coalition of like minded heroes intent on serving the public through established channels, specifically Military, PPD, and Longbow. We DO NOT work with Vanguard as a general rule as they're sudden appearence denotes a group who tries to work outside the established order.

*Activity: We have 8 unique globals within the group, SG leadership of three, and an activity level among those three equivilant to daily having someone to play with. I am personally on at least an hour every night.

Requirements for Membership: We only require activity in your main character once a week or so, and to show up at any SG meetings as they are announced. I run announcements on the following locations, the SG Message of the Day, Facebook group, Local Gamers 859, and will begin posting them to the Forums here as well.

Currently Recruiting: We always welcome new members of all skill levels. We especially welcome new players and will provide them with help, influence, salvage and recipies.

RP Level: Light to medium RP.

PvP Level: Casual. If PvP improves, that would change.

Theme/Concept: Avesos is a casual, newbie-friendly SG that prioritize fun above everything else. No drama, no hard rules or demands on the members. Whatever you enjoy, we will try to make available.

Activity: We have 60-70 active players on a weekly basis. Our playerbase is multi-national, from Sweden, Finland, Norway, the UK, Canada, the US and Australia, so there is usually someone on most times of the day.

Requirements for Membership: A dislike of drama, a wish for fun and a light-hearted attitude.

Other Details: Helodermitidae has built several highly impressive bases in the history of Virtue and is still perfecting the masterpiece that is the Avesos base. But it is fully functional, enormous and quite impressive already. We just don't have the mutliple movie theaters finished yet.

We schedule weekly events and have Mission Architect writers in the SG.

We are a two and a half year old SG. Earlier we used to be Scandinavian-only but we opened up the SG for everyone in January of 2010.
