I know a few people who are in closed beta, so I guess either they're friends and family of the devs (unlikely) or Wave 2 has indeed started.

Yeah, people who have been banned, broken rules, or been caught disregarding their NDA can sometimes keep their accounts, but are no longer considered 'in good standing', from what I've been told.

Well if you've been banned from the game... you're account is not in good standing.
If you you've not been banned, but stopped paying you are not in good standing in one sense but are in that you haven't been banned from the game.
It's a matter of being on one of 3 lists. "banned" "inactive" "active". If you are talking abotu active, the two left ones are not in good standing, but is your talking about in terms of allowed to still play the two on the right are in good standing.

About the "good standing" thing... They keep books on this stuff.
It's got names and gold star stickers and skull and crossbone stickers and even some fold out dart board pages.
They know who you are and have full reports on you all.
It's basically about whether you've proven, beyond reasonable doubt, that you're an [censored] or not.
You might be a [censored] or a [censored] yet still be viewed as a solid enough community member to serve the beta well enough... But any true [censored] is not considered to be in "good standing" and they don't have a Fusionette chance of success in the RWZ of getting into any closed betas.

If it helps any, there are people IN the beta, that don't even log in anymore to test the beta out...
I know a few, last they went into beta was to see the demon summons and dual pistols..
All I want to know is the new costumes and the kin melee and lightning control
