I've only done Flashback since I17 hit, and I'm overflowing with temporary power recipes (plus a Steadfast +def )

That is great.

I destroyed 4 sluggers and 2 hammers today, because my global was full of grenades and assorted others. I kind like it, but this stuff is going to be vendor trash really fast at this rate.

I've had so many drop I've destroyed more than I've saved. Probably about 16 over the weekend...

Spines/ D A lvl 50 Scrap, stone/wm lvl 50 tank, Kat/reg lvl 50 Scrap

plant/thorns lvl 50 dom, ice/fire lvl 40 dom, grav/nrg lvl 41 dom

Now that is a fabulous idea.

It's not just you. I haven't gotten a temp power drop since i17. Of course, I think in the 4+ years I've been playing I could probably count my temp drops on two hands.

Just keep in mind that the @global email has been a tad buggy lately, too, with all these changes. I wouldn't email anything I didn't want to risk losing for a few weeks until things get shaken out.

I am getting way too many temps, and somehow I am beginning to believe my chances of geeting an invention are now greatly reduced, and that i sreally bad.

I done a couple of ITFs, and normally I mdo get a reasonable number of invention recipe drops with some rares sprinkled among them. Lately I get droves of worthless temporary powers, and almost no invention recipes; I don't like that.

That back up radio temp can spike in price to 10 mill.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

To which I can only reply "So?"

I have no problem with there being so many that their cost is bupkis. They're to be used, not to make cash off.

Dec out.

Your chances of getting regular inventions are not being affected by this change, as long as you make sure to keep som space open for them. I have been watching my drops closely since i17, and have seen MANY temp power recipes drop from enemies at the same time as a common or set recipe; they have been moved into a separate pool, just like costume parts were. I haven't yet received a temp and a costume off the same enemy, so I can't say if they've been put into a shared pool, or two separate ones.

What really surprised me was getting a set IO and a common IO recipe off the same enemy. These now seem to be separate pools as well!

I too have had what seems to be way to many temp powers drop. I usually do one run around the wall in Cimerora with my Brute per day for drops and Prestige, and I keep running until my recipe sack is full. One run has generated as many as 12 temp power recipes (full sack for him is 29), which to me is stupid. When almost half my recipe drops are temp powers over the course of 30-45 minutes I'm inclined to believe that the drop rate is TOO high on them.

Okay here is what I have been doing since I have almost 40 characters on Virtue between 2 accounts. I run missiion and get temp powers. I craft and then if I get a duplicate I send an email to myself with the temp as an attachment and a message statiung "up for grabs". When I log on someone that doesnt have that yet they claim it and then they email any duplicate again.

Hey temps come in very handy during time travel missions, especially low levels ones, between keeping 5 levels of powers above the mission itself now and the temp powers I find myself vastly outgunning whatever I am facing. :-D In other words even now that the market is back up I haven't sold a single one and have no plans too.

I can agree that for lowbies the excessive dropping of temp powers is a very good thing, but in my case I have 32 level 50 ALTs, and frankly at that level the great majority of the temp powers are pointless; thus the high drop rate of temps is mostly a nuisance.

Frankly, I am getting to the point that temp powers should not be a droppable item, and be instead a saleable item at the arena or specific vendors such as it is done now with flight packs.

I disagree. I love getting the temp powers as drops, and use them very frequently.

Perhaps it's time to bug the devs to create a /recipe_delete command, so you can create a macro to quickly clear the unwanted recipes. That seems a better solution to me.

It's not a better solution if it's affecting the drop rate of other recipe types. Even common IOs are a significant source of inf for anyone not in the billionaire's club.

As I stated in a previous post, temp powers are now in their own pool (or maybe a shared pool with costume recipes), and now can drop from the same enemy that drops a set or common IO.

If they drop from anything other than a minion , they are not sharing the costume pool.

Good point, and that is not something I was watching for.

Best suggestion I have seen a long time. I would want this even without the recent issue of Temp Power over-droppage
