I agree, I never surf without it, and I love it. Then again, even without the ad-on, I've never had any virus alerts from megaupload, but I want to play it safe anyway.

So I removed them and should have them back up shortly. So bear with me and I will update this post as soon as they are ready for downloading again.

Ok everyone, files are now back up and ready to be downloaded.

There is no redirect or file sharing with these downloads, they are placed on a direct link system. So no more damn advertisements to mess anything up.

If there is any problems, just let me know

Downloading is S-L-O-W but I rather be virus free ^_^ have you tried sharing via torrents? (sorry if somebody already suggested that)

Files have always been clean of viruses, just the MegaUpload site was causing the issue.

But, I'e placed 2 links on the download page, if one is slow try the other.

Sorry but there is a lot of people hammering the server right now as a lot of people are downloading, so it may be slow at times

Nah, it's only a small file and 280ish kb/s is plenty, only takes a couple of minutes.

Deliverance, I just installed the addon you suggested, but where do I change the "NoScript" at? I see that I can turn off Javascript completely, but is there something else?

Can't seem to get the mappack to install under windows 7 (64 bit) i am right clicking it and choosing "run as admninstrator". Any suggestions?

I seemed to have the same issue. I re-downloaded from the mirror, and did 'run' ratgher than 'save.'

It worked, so far.

*Edit* it gave an error after this, after installing to 'windows 86/city of heroes' or whatnot, I selected the 'no, it's all fine' option. It worked like a charm.

Shouldh't have a problem with the Map Pack on Windows & 64bit, I too am on windows 7 64bit and never had any issue with installing it. And it works with no problems in game.

Just a side question. I've never installed any map packs before...is there a way to 'un-install' the map pack? From what I gather this map pack just places new img files in the coh directory....so really no software to un-install from Add/Remove Programs....but was curious. I would most likely get rid of the map pack once I get the shiny badges

Delete the two following folders:
City of Heroes\data\texture_library\MAPS
City of Heroes\data\texture_library\V_MAPS

There should be a uninstall.exe in your City of Hero directory, you can remove it from there or use the Add and Remove Programs in the control panel.

Minor FYI: it looks like Herostats 5.0.0.0 is not able to validate any of the new badges or badges taht existed prior to ish 17. Anyone else experiencing this?

Okay thanks Snow Globe and Beef_Cake.

And I had issues with HeroStats and Glycerine in trying to update the CiT site with the new badges. Glycerine would look like it was working (when I logged in to my main char. EI, it'd show the info for the char./etc in Glycerine) but then it'd just lose all the info for the char./wouldn't accept badges when I clicked on them in the game.

HeroStats I haven't used in quite a while but downloaded and installed all the latest updates and it picked up that I got the new badges but it never sent it to the CiT site (I did click on 'send badge data now' link in the menu). I tried the "test login" button in HeroStats for CiT but it said, "couldn't login"...yet I know it's the correct login.
