25 mil for a karma knockback

No, you just need to pay 25mil or more.

You can't make 25mil or more?

Well, I guess nobody can. I guess the market is just fuelled by witches.

You don't know me being snide, kid.

Hey, here's a fantastic idea! Why don't you look at the stickies at the top of this whole forum page and learn anything about anything before you come in here whining that things are too expensive and therefore, cannot be purchased at all. Is that unreasonable?

Lord, why do parents let their children on the computer. First this is for grown-ups, time to act like it. Secondly those are proc's period. They are premier IO's, can't afford them so what, can and don't want to buy so what.

Those prices are pretty cheap, to be honest. Just sell everything you ever get on the market and you'll afford 75 mil in no time.

*shrug* That's pretty cheap quite a few IOs go for over 100mil each and the Gladiators Armor +3% IO regularly sells off market for more than the cap of 2billion.

If you want to get good IOs you can either farm, play the market or wait a long time. If you want to farm there are plenty of options. Running solo at +0/x8 either in a regular mission or in the AE is the simplest if you've got a character who can handle it. You get Inf and pool A recipes that you can sell. Alternatively running TFs and Story Arcs for the merits can also make a decent profit.

Alternatively you can play the market. There are plenty of option, personally I prefer crafting but other people make a decent profit flipping. There are various guides around so pick something that works for you.

Also be smart in your purchasing. Leaving a bid up even just overnight almost always gets you a better price than if you buy it immediately.

Wait for it... wait for it...

Be patient put up a bid for it. Chances are it will sell cheaper than buy it nao... It's a market. When things are plentiful, they tend to go cheaper (not always maybe it's highly sought after rare item). 25 mil for a Karma KB isn't as high as some of us has seen it go for. Learning to use the markets really will help you IO faster than just grinding missions or merits. If your bid is there you might get it for much less.

Yeah, they are too expensive to buy just using the influence you get from playing the game. The Karma Knockback isn't a rare, and can drop during normal gameplay, but don't count on it. I've had 3 maybe since I9 came out, and I play every day pretty much.

Other good stuff can also drop during normal gameplay, so check any IO drops you get for market prices instead of vendoring them. Most are worthless, but sometimes you'll get something that sells for millions.

Well, they aren't that pricey considering how long it would take you to get one through a random drop. Most prices are set by the earning power of a level 50. It's within reason to earn 75 million at level 50 over the span of ten hours, and that's without farming or investing your time optimally.

Here's the key: things might be expensive to buy, but you also make a ton through selling. Move your items on the market, maybe even start playing the market, and these prices will feel like chump change. Until then, save up for the -Knock Back IO, which can be a game changer.

And as others have said-- the 35 Million is probably a buy-it-now price. Look at all level ranges; find a range that is moving for 6-10 million; place several bids on multiple ranges and wait.

That's all you'll get in the market section. Sorry, move on.

My advice, create a farm toon and farm, farm, farm. I have about 7 purpled toons across 2 accounts and over 4 bil in cash and a bin full of purples and other stuff like Miracles Recovs and i don't buy much from the market. I keep the orange salvage in bins also.

You have people that don't do anything but sit in WW flipping recipes or buying stuff up just to inflate the market. This section of the forums is mainly just to beat people down that don't want to participate in their way of thinking. If you want to post in here and not get flamed, just post a pic of the billions you've made or ask them how to make uber inf so they can say, "find a niche" or "learn to flip" and make them feel special. lol.

Which side, Red or Blue? Recipies or Crafted.

Red Side is a little screwy usually and more so now because of MMs raking it in via an AE bug which was exploited.

Mind you Karmas are low level Bronze rolls, I usually buy them with tickets from running a few MA story arcs and get them fairly quickly.

Or you could just use the market intelligently, selling for what people are willing to pay, buying crafted IOs from Badgers trying to clear slots, and most importantly, being patient in everything you do with the market instead of piloting a keyboard through endless hours of multiple accounts farming....

Your call really

As has been said before, play levels 1-10 in AE, roll your tickets at level 10 on 10-14 bronze rolls. You will get -KB IOs (if you get the wrong one, sell it and buy the one you do want), steadfast res/defs and lots of other goodies.

More often than not I end up with at least one -KB if I do this, but it's not guaranteed.

I started from zero on a new server, and made 3BN in 6 weeks without buying/selling anything desperately risky or expensive or playing in AE, getting hold of inf is really not difficult.
