What is NOT soloable?

Is there anything in the game that is UN-SOLOABLE?

When I say UNSOLOABLE, I mean absolutly un-soloable under any circumstances with ANY build whatsoever. Un-soloable as in 0 human team mate help. (Defining help here as using any powers)

Some might say task forces and such, but techincally I think that some people have done it by having players quit after joining....I would consider that "soloable" since you have no human help other than place fillers to alow you to perform the task force.

The only one that comes to my mind is the Hamidon. While I have never been in a Hamidon raid, I'm quite certain that no build cold ever mathematically defeat Hamidon.

What else?

I believe there are a few missions that still require simultaneous clicking of glowies. I think there is one still like that in the Hess TF blueside.

Someone one-shotted Hamidon, but it was only through a bug that allowed infinite enhancements, IIRC.

There are a couple of TFs that require multiple clicking of glowies. Additionally I don't believe that the STF is doable solo. I know it's been duo'd a few times but I've yet to hear of someone soloing it.

Also, Hamidon has been solo'd. Admittedly it was only possible becuase of a pretty major bug with Kheldian Respecs but it has been done .

The Cavern of Transcendence trial (I think it's called) requires 8 people on the team clicking glowies simultaneously.

I'm fairly certain nothing could solo Hamidon. (Exploits of bugs don't count)

Everything else I can think of can be soloed.

I highly doubt some could run a Rikti Ship Raid solo.

There are also several missions that require multiple synched glowie clicks. The Cavern of Transcendence Trial, the Hess TF, and few random mishes are like that.

And then there's the V-Day mishes that require a Hero on a Villain mish and a Villain on a Hero mish.

Agreed. I know people can solo Pylons, I really doubt anyone could solo all the pylons fast enough to bring the shields down.

Most TF solo strategies involve being able to ether lock down the AV or survive the incoming damage. So anything with more than one AV would be difficult. Khan comes to mind, with staggering AV's, as does the SFT/LRTF.

Hamidon is a given.

Ship raid is also a given due to the scope and time limit.

No, he said TFs are soloable because people can quit/log out.

edit: damn your quick fingers.

lmao.

Eochai is soloable.. but that giant squid over IP is not.

Isn't Reichsman un-soloable? I mean, even with the temp powers? I am pretty sure you need a team to take him on.

I remember a long time ago, a friend and I were able to duo one of Lusca's tentacles... in theory we could have done the rest. I seem to remember the head taking a bit more effort though, so we might not have been able to finish. (This team was a scrapper and a defender, if that matters.)

I don't know if it's been changed, but Paragonwiki still lists Anton Sampson's "Stop Nemesis' Macro Assembler" mission as having mission objectives 'Defeat Nemesis troops, machines' and '4 devices to stop simultaneously, 4 office workers to rescue'. Sounds pretty unsoloable to me.

I recall a while back that an Illusion/radiation controller had soloed Lusca, so that's doable.

I've never really understood the allure of soloing GM's and AV's, but I also hate fighting things that con red or purple. I'd rather take down a lot of weaker stuff really, really fast.

I do understand the allure of solo'ing a Task Force, though. That might be interesting.

I can't resist a bit of shameless self-promotion here: if anyone wants to see a reworking of this mission (attempting to preserve the ingenious idea behind it while removing the dull and clunky execution, including the simul-clicking), try arc #2555713, "Urban Renewal."

I've seen Lusca get soloed. Well, I saw like an hour and a half of it, but when I got bored and left it was pretty clear that it was doable.

Would Praetorian Hamidon, Chuck Norris or Blue Steel count if they tried?

Past the TFs/Trials aren't their still a couple of normal missions/arcs that require simultaneous glowies?

Pretty much my first ever experience of teaming in any MMO was being asked by a level 30+ to help them do a simultaneous glowy mission - think it was a shop unlock, but I can't remember if they removed the simultaneous aaspect of th emission since then (about March 2006).

Yes. I had to draft some help in an arc mission in... Sharkhead, I think, a few weeks ago because it required three glowies to be clicked simultaneously.

I don't think the final mission of the Abandoned Sewer Trial is soloable but that's due to a combination of how the temps work and a time limit on the second half.
