If you're on say a Corrupter. -Regen and near softcapped ranged defense works best IMO. My Fire/Rad is a AV/GM killer.

Solo is impossible, but I wonder what the minimum number of people to do a mothership raid is...

Like you said, solo is impossible since you have to take down each Pylon in 1:30 give or take to get the shields down. It is possible to duo it though. I know of a few people who have and I'm actually going to try to do it on the weekend with a buddy of mine.

Since most TFs that don't require multiple glowie clicks can apparently be soloed, there's no reason to have entry minimums for them.

One team of characters that are all capable of soloing pylons could probably do it.

What about RV? Spawning GW and Mako would be tough to solo...

similarly the STF... GW has been a big stumbling point for many teams so solo would take some doing.

That said I struggle to solo a Hellion minion on a fully IO'd 50

With -regen. It's actually been done on at least one Blaster, since Mental Manipulation has a significant -regen power in the form of Drain Psyche.

No one I have ever heard of can brute force DPS a GM into the ground without hampering its HP regen. You need something like 330 (350?) DPS just to break even. However, with a -500% regen debuff, after you factor in the entity's resistances to that debuff (usually around 85% for a level 50 critter) you can shut down around 75% of that regen, the equivalent of applying nearly 250 DPS to them.

Currently, there are no temp powers that apply -regen to arbitrary targets, but if they ever provide any, more people might be able to solo such critters.

No... I was more direct.... I figured that'd be the best way to approach a psychic, that she'd appreciate it more!

Apparently I was broadcasting pretty hard, because she "saw" me coming a mile away... literally.

Perhaps you shouldn't do such things in public.

Be well, people of CoH.

You're quite correct - it can't be done by any one person. I heard it takes about 3.1412 people to tackle pie.

Obviously savoury rather than sweet, as I'm never gonna say good pi(e) and dessert you...

Hey - took me ages to decide if that meant it was sweet or savoury.. as I mention elsewhere, in the forums, I am at a bar. Please be kind...

It could be reworked fairly easily with something similar to the 'lead to' objective mechanic, where you had a master control panel that could disable the individual assemblers, but you had to first find each of the assemblers and jigger their controls so that when they got a command that normally did something else, they'd respond by shutting down, then go to the master control panel and have it issue that command. But I don't know how much work that would be for the devs or how much interest they have in addressing it.

3.14159265358979323846264338327950288 people, to be more accurate... although that's only to the limit of what I memorized...

I soloed Jurassik with a DB/WP Scrapper, actually one-shotting him, but I freely admit that a) it was on Test, and b) I exploited a bug to do it (having the Touch of Lady Grey: Chance for Negative Energy Damage proc for "4.08311 e+006" points of damage, it being bugged to deliver a huge multiple of the target's base HP when it went off -- 'Touch of Lady Grey: Chance to One-Shot')
