  1. How many will be attending? (Remember - you must be at least 21 years of age)

Jillian's is a nice place. You all had a fine pick with that one.

I have the weekend off and I live just 20 minutes south of there, so I have no real excuse not to come as well.. haha

See you there!

I'll be there. It looks like walking distance from PAX, but I've only been to Beantown a few times.

If we win raffle prizes, will we have to be present to claim them? If so, when will the raffle tickets be drawn?

Asking because I'll likely have to leave for the Saturday night concert in the middle of all the fun, sadly.

Some advice on the dresscode for the evening -- avoid boots or sneakers as they may very well not let you in.

Probably about 20 - 30 minutes to walk it. Not that close, but not too far either.

Looking forward to the event - I wonder what bands are playing on Lansdowne Street that night?

They don't say anything about sneakers in their dress code -- just construction boots, work boots or Timberlands. Have you seen them turn away people in sneakers?

I suppose I'll take a pair of heels just in case, though I'll feel utterly ridiculous wearing them with jeans and a t-shirt.

I would worry more if you are a guy...and going by your comment about 'heels' I would say that you do not need to worry.

edit - wow, poor grammar multiple times!

Hm, that's really late; might not be able to make it because the baby always wants me around to be able to sleep. I hope you guys booked a private room because it is a really busy place on a Saturday night. Really really busy.

That said, is there a cover charge?

I don't believe Jillians has a cover charge. In the announcement, they said they booked the VIP/Polo rooms, which are private rooms on the 3rd floor.

This was going back a bit, just after the place reverted to Jillians (went from Jillians -> dave and busters -> to Jillians). Perhaps they've loosened up on it since. As a woman, you're likely be okay but they are a bit wonky with guys and boots though -- a set of skechers non-lace-up boots, can get you shut out (speaking from personal experience).

You're right - I totally missed the VIP/Polo part of the announcement. I couldn't remember if they had a cover or not.

Their dress code is pretty lax, from what I remember. I know I was allowed in once with a bandana on, jeans & sneakers. That was probably over 5 years ago though, it could be different now.

I stopped going because, well, for one I moved out of the city, and for 2, I didn't want to wait for a table :P

Just as a point of curiosity, since both links go to Jillian's catering menu, is this meant to imply that food will be served at the event? Or is food and drink still our own responsibility?

I've made the trek scores of times and even in the least sober moments it's more like 20 minutes.

Not much seems to be going on that weekend. Ben Folds is at House of Blues the next weekend, which I for one am super psyched for.

A real bummer is that Fenway Park tours start up the 29th, so you folks visiting will miss that. It is a cool thing to do.

Fenway is a cool ballpark and one of the few old ones still remaining.
