Any chance the free character transfer could get extended through the double xp weekend?
I totally understand that you might not want too much load on that service, or if you would not want it being used by free re-activation users, but it might further encourage some players to pop back in and say 'hi!'!

I think the marketing team is playing it smart, and not promising MORE than they would technically be delivering. I could see many more people complaining about being told "four days," and demanding they be given the full 96 hours.

Just be glad you CAN preorder. The NCsoft distributor down here confirmed to me today that they have no plans to sell Going Rogue, just like they don't sell Architect Edition, Mac Edition, or any of the booster packs. The NCsoft store website blocks my IP, so if I want to preorder, I need to give my account details to someone in the US for them to do it for me.

How do they do it? How do they know the weekends when I'm going to be working overtime or out of town? I hardly ever leave my home, and yet they always manage to schedule these things when I'm not!

In addition to all of the Day Jobs, every character is "On Patrol" after they log out of the game. When players log back into Paragon City or the Rogue Isles they will gain 1 bar of double experience (when defeating enemies) for every 24 hours they are logged out. A player can earn up to 10 bars of double experience this way. Double experience is shown as a blue portion of your experience bar. One thing to note is that if a player has any experience debt, the debt will be removed first before any double experience is applied.
If your character has a number of bars of double experience that exceeds the number of experience bars you need to level up, then this double experience will carry over to the next security/threat level. <----- (taken from the issue 14 info page)

Although interesting, my real interest is making a Praetorian Dual Pistols Blaster Rogue. Won't be able to do the Rogue part until GR. Maybe I'll just level my Dual Blades Scrapper in the meantime, or one of my villain alts.
