There were no changes the this event last year either.
At least you know there will be no patches/changes through March 2.... for now.

Yay same damn event we have had for four years now. Something new added please!

It would be cool to do it in Ultra Mode, that would be new.

I still think the Valentine's Day event oughta feature a teenager version of BNY in a cage match with Snaptooth, as payback for that whole kidnapping thing.

So what is 'Brave the Well of the Furies'? I don't remember this.

I actually appreciate that there are no new things. I can get all my new alts the stuff if I want, and still do them again on my older characters, should I want to "recharge" them.

I'd hate to have to grind all the stuff over for just one more badge, and "thrown candy hearrts" emote, or something like that.

I'm with the crowd that is hoping they're more concerned with working on Going Rogue and the like.

i was thinking that this year there would be boxes of chocolate spread around the zones we open them and get either insp or candy kisses, open enough and a giant cookie monster would spawn, defeat him . then a candy heart would be left behind that would open a portal to the candyland,where we defeat the giant cookie monster,and get a badge of crossed candy bars.

Well, I have always considered the Valentines Day event to be terminally lame. Aion's having double XP, though, so I don't plan to be in CoH to be subjected to it.

It's nice to have options.

This is awesome news! Having absolutely nothing new means it frees up my February for catching up on important stuff like my Trig homework, studying for my exams, and farming more purples for fun and profit.

Obviously, updates to regular events aren't a formal part of our subscription agreement. So just as obviously, Paragon Studios can choose to update the event or not as they see fit, or even discontinue the event entirely. But an update would have made me happy (which is not an unreasonable goal for a business to have regarding their customers), and no update has accomplished the opposite.

Additionally, the Value of Going Rogue should be accounted for in the Box Cost of Going Rogue. Anywhere that I percieve Going Rogue robbing resources from the regular development of the game, it leaves me less and less enthusiastic about the expectation that I will pay an additional cost to obtain access to it, when the observable value of my regular subscription fee (measured in new events, content or features from which I am able to derive personal enjoyment) has been at a consistent low ever since the expansion apparently entered development.

tl;dr - Perks like new event features may not be part of my contractual expectation as a subscriber, but they sure help bolster my enthusiasm for giving Paragon Studios my money.

Good News: I just did a DJ Zero mission holdover from last year and Snaptooth is no longer bugged. You can target him when he becomes an EB.

Bad News: That info never made it into a Patch Notes. Naughty Devs and their stealth fixes!

I say if there doing GR then they dont need to add new stuff but if there not shame on them :P
